I never ever ever ever ever ever compared him to Tom Brady and never ever will. Just saying. So im not sure if that was for me. It just drive me nuts to listen to people here ram down our throat he is a top 5 QB and we would win 14 games. Thats all that drove me nuts. Thats all. Its frustrating for all cowboys fana no matter how you feel. Thats all. It sucks for all of us.
Never seen you in this forum or one of your posts. So i dont know what ur talking about in referencing you.
And I've never seen anybody say he was a top 5 QB. What i have seen is people say he's one of the best young QBs in the NFL. And isnt he? People like you want to say he's taken a step back. People who think level headed take other factors into account. Maybe like saying Dallas has played against 4 really good defenses? Maybe people like me see that there really is no WR getting open. And maybe me myself see teams taking away his good route runners like Witten and Beasley away, and living with guy that run bad routes in Dez and TW.
Me i think there are 4 facotrs in Dallas' slow start. And while Dak has had some bad throws, and some missed chances its nothing overwhelming or something thats costing this team wins.
1. Injuries and suspensions. All these guys missing time is effecting the defense. Dallas is playing thru it but add in Irving, Moore and a healthy Hitchens and secondary and this team i think is 3-1 no doubt about it. I dont know bout that Broncos game, but i will say Dallas matched up good until Carroll and Awuzie went down. Some of this is self inflicted in the suspensions, and some bad luck in injuries. This IMO is the biggest reason Dallas has 2 losses.
2. Coaching, these coaches just dont seem to want to adjust in game. It just looks like theyre saying "we arent changing anything stop us if you can". Since the WRs arent beating coverage i have no idea how they cant run bunches to one side to open up their go to route as every team seems to do in todays game. One everybody uses and nobody seems to be unable to stop is the TE running a in route and a speedy slot WR following him and going behind the TE to open field as the TE takes the def priority. Easy first downs. And it seems teams run this at will on Dallas and every other NFL team so it works, but it seems the coaches are unwilling to evolve.
3. Ezekiel Elliot is a distraction. Believe it or not he is. He's young and made stupid choices, but he's still making them stupid choices. This NFL investigation started when he was drafted. And instead of laying low he was in the headlines in 3-4 more situations since then. And he can dismiss talk about him not being in better shape, but thats obvious. He's missed long runs and couldnt burst because the burst isnt there. i hope he gets back to being dedicated and realizing he's playing a game and making millions to earn a living. When he could very well be washing cars.
4. Nobody is getting open, These WR's and even Witten have to give Dak a target. Not remain stationary. Find them spots and beat your guy.
