    Run and pass more effectively.
    Stop big plays.
    Win TO battle.
    Stop the O critical times.
    Stop critical penalties.

While I agree with everything you said, the play calling in the red zone was horrible this season. If we have the same players and different play calling we should be better than last year.

Well that would be mine. I’m not sure how much they can do,with not a lot of draft capital, and Lawrence to sign though. Not gonna be easy. Heck.I’m nor even sure they will change their tune on DTs. Jerry’s still in love with the DEs,and we all know Rod’s MO.

Jobber I think I would agree with everything on your short list, but getting everything on that list done right would virtually seal a Championship brother.
Im dialing in small, and just looking at possibly getting a good pick in the 2nd round... OL or DL.

Yes,that’s the problem with Dallas’s d-line. As I just mentioned,it’s not something I’m sure they’ll change. It’s never been Rod’s priority, nor the FO. I know they’ll address o-line...that much we know. But the question is DT? Actually now I think about it,they will need a DE too dang it. Gregory is a weakness in the run, which LA exploited, and teams will use that same plan against them a lot now if they can. Can’t rely on Taco Bell for good service, his heart isn’t in it.

You dont stop trying to win! Tanking is usually dont when your team has a bad losing season. Besides they need to sign Lawrence to be able to trade him since he is a FA. Zeke will have a 5th year option so you could trade him . You need to let this season play out so that Garrett can be fired and pray Jerry can convince Sean Payton to be the new head coach. Payton would have a fresh young QB in Lawrence on a rookie contract for 5 years. The Cowboys with the extra money they save on having that rookie QB contract they could bring some tier one FAs.

If the 2018 could have been really good in the redzone. the Cowboys would have been incredibly hard to beat.

I will give it to you brother you have a plan . I can understand your concerns over Dak and the belief that he will not be able to take us to the SB .

After Tony I just have trouble pinning my hopes on one player as the savior . I believe Dak with all his faults has enough positives to lead a team of talented players farther than Tony could with less talent .
Both being saddled with Garrett makes it almost impossible to acquire enough talent to overcome him so I have adjusted my expectations.

Wish I had your faith that Jerry would finally give up on Garrett and move on but I don't see it . To me it just seems like Jerry is adding to his corps of unlikely candidates to get us to the SB with the addition of Moore as OC .

It just seems this is Jerrys life mission take all the unlikely longshots at the most important positions on the team ,claim there are your hand picked guys and relentlessly try to win with them no matter how inept they prove themselves in crucial moments .

IMO Jerry wants and needs the credit and will not have it any other way . Winning is secondary to him getting the credit .

That seems to be the obvious consensus. Pretty glad we all see it too. Hopefully Dallas sees it that way.

I don't even think much about JG any more. I'm more of the mind of hoping we can get good enough coordinators to overcome.

Hope so but this has been going on for years and they have not addressed it the way it should have been yet.

Ridiculous....he merely states that the lineup was changing regularly, even in game, and he was more comfortable once the starting WRs were set and in place. Duh....that’s nothing but normal. It’s a comment on a state of affairs prior to the Cooper trade when our receiving corps was garbage and the coaches were trying to find a group that actually worked and giving guys a chance to step up. Once we had a decent #1 and Gallup became entrenched at #2, of course the QB was more comfortable, knowing what he’d get from each play.

Your memories of Tim Tebow are fantasies.

    Completion %:
    Tebow 47.9
    Dak 66.1

    Yards per attempt:
    Tebow 6.5
    Dak 7.5

    QB rating:
    Tebow 75.3
    Dak 96.0

    TD/INT:
    Tebow 17/9
    Dak 67/25

Dak isn't Tom Brady but he's not Tim Tebow, either.

Top ten free agent for safety...support the turn-over aspect.

Strong defensive tackle, even if a pick from next season is needed to be added for moving up in the draft.

Add in concentration on open field tackling and the defense moves up to very tough.

Resign Sean Lee to a reduced salary for a couple more seasons!!

It'[s a great point because who does Dak lean on when he struggles with coverage reads or other in-game issues?

Garrett? He was supposed to be that guy but I think most of us feel it was more Romo than him.
Moore? You hope so, but he is completely unprovem
Cooper Rush or Mike White? Come on now.

I know no one wants to touch him but if anyone could handle the heat, it's Jerry Jones. I would consider bringing in Art Briles as an offensive consultant. I know people will balk at what went on under his watch at Baylor but as an offensive consultant on an NFL team, he would literally be in charge of nothing.
