Watson has already missed an entire season with no end in sight. He hasn't been criminally charged. He's facing several civil suits and waiting for his court date.

So I'm not sure what "exactly" is supposed to mean, but I'm pretty sure if that was Dak instead of Watson it would be the greatest anti-Cowboys conspiracy ever.

I can't agree with this take simply because it doesn't hold true. Just 1 example- Tyreek Hill had a history of domestic abuse prior to joining the NFL. He was accused of breaking his son's arm. A recording was released of his fiancé talking about him punching his son in the chest and him telling her she should, "be terrified of [him] too... dumb b****." Police essentially dropped it because they couldn't prove which one of the two committed the crime, while saying a crime was indeed committed.

In Zeke's case, the police basically ruled Zeke's accuser was a liar. The NFL's investigation came to the same conclusion. I think it's obvious here that Goodell suspended him out of spite because Jerry was vocal on his defense. It's a cowardly justification to criticize Jerry for defending Zeke as innocent, especially considering the result of the investigations.

Possibly, but what you're saying does not agree/disagree w/ that "take". I agree that Hill should've been punished. I have not delved into the case, so I have no idea why he wasn't.

An employer has the right to handle employees. I have no idea why you'd disagree w/ that.

Pointing out Zeke’s deficiencies is not “hate”. If you’re going to call people “Zeke haters” at least define what evidence you have of that. What makes someone a Zeke hater? Is it just disagreeing with an opinion someone has about Zeke? Or do you have specific evidence of something more? Please elaborate.

An employer has the right to handle employees. I have no idea why you'd disagree w/ that.

I don't disagree with that. I just don't agree that every action an employer makes is justified and simply saying they can do something avoids the question of whether they should have.

As fans, we all from time to time have to suspend logic and evidence in order to “believe”. In fact, just being a fan (aka “fanatic”) makes us vulnerable to false hopes and evidence that is contrary to our hope.

Here is a list of things we wish were true but sadly aren’t:

• The Cowboys are just victims of bad luck- this year, and the previous 25 before that. But actually, as Jimmy used to emphasize, teams make their own luck.

• Our players should be willing to take a “hometown discount”. We love the idea that a Cowboys player loves the game and the fans here enough to take less money. Pipe dream. And we should never expect a man to take less money than he could get elsewhere.

• Our front office just needs to hire the right coach- like Sean Payton- and that will fix us- since our last great playoff run we’ve already had 6 different HCs, 7 different OCs, 8 different DCs, over 70 different assistant coaches…one 1 GM. It’s more than a HC issue.

• The refs are a part of a vast NFL conspiracy to keep the Cowboys from success- Our society is always fascinated with some crazy conspiracy that helps us avoid things we don’t want to be true. The NFL can’t even define a catch or pass interference, and we’re supposed to believe they can hold a conspiracy like this together, lol? The truth is this 2021 Cowboys team was undisciplined and paid the price with penalty flags.

There are of course more than on this list. Any others?

You want to point out 26 years of failure and how.many of those years did they draft a 1st round QB. This team hasn't won jack since Aikman.

But, that aside, how come the refs make faces at the Cowboys? Huh? Answer me that!

Jerry is just too loyal to "his boys".
It's not just a business to him. His pride and joy....he wants to be the daddy and shower it with his money.
Not a good business model in tha cap era.

Neither Jerry and Stephen in their key positions can do the team justice because they also are mired in other business endeavors. Exactly how objectively self-critical do they allow themselves to be as key members of their family football team enterprise. No primal fear of failure and only short term planning improving the team.

I really don;t approve of the use of "hater"...to be honest with you. I think it's overused and a false accusation most of the time.

It is my opinion that if a Dallas Cowboys fan easily sides with GODell on Zeke's suspension....there's something there that doesn't have anything to do with football.

It's true Zeke was not an NFL role model. The cameras caught him in some compromising situations. NONE of which were violent or even illegal.

The alleged incident in Ohio was the catalyst and overwhelming fuel for that fire. And it was fake. The NFL never acknowledged that and in fact USED it, against the counsel of their own investigator.

The Cowboys fought it on principle, as any innocent person SHOULD. And then punished even more for their defying insolence.

Again...as was pointed out...NFL (any company) CAN enforce certain legal policies and discipline. I look for fairness and consistency.

This action still does not sit well with me. The timing of it pretty much BURIED the Cowboys 2016 momentum...how convenient for the feuding GODell! That'll show Jerry well and good who's the boss!

His resume is great the problem is he hit success very quick and has now spent 26 years trying to disprove how he actually won in this league....We have the only owner who literally wants to disprove how he had success...its crazy.

So the argument for suspension was, "conduct detrimental." I think the suspension fails by it's own standards. The irony, imo, is that the inconsistent application of, "conduct detrimental," standards is actually conduct detrimental.
