This is to tell you exactly, how the coaches feel about Cooper Rush

I'd prefer neither Dak or Rush to be the starter and we draft, trade for, or sign someone instead.

I want wants best for the Cowboys. You seem to have more of a rooting interest in Dak. Are the games not as fun for you if Dak isn't playing?

I know you want to see 50 passes and 450 yards....but that isn't a good way for us to win. It's been proven over and over.

I am not sure Cooper can do that. BUT.... I think Cooper is in Dak 2016 mode....trusting the rest of the team to win and he doesn't fug it up. I think this trust, calm demeanor and few mistakes make it easier on the O-line and the defense. So in that regard, Cooper is contributing.

And I tell you what...Coops passes aren't laser beams.....but watch where and when those passes land in receivers hands. Dang near perfect. But you have to watch with non-agenda eyes.

My attachment to Dak lies with him being the QB for my favorite team. When he is gone and someone else's problem then Dak is nothing to me.

Well I do recall his watching McCarthy on the sidelines and I know he wanted to go for it. We kick a field goal. If Prescott was in there do you think McCarthy kicks that field goal. I don’t.

Yes, because it made it a two-score game. You are playing the odds that you can keep LA from scoring twice, has little to do with the QB.

Its mind blowing this is so hard to grasp for people..we are not winning because our scoring is way down..we are winning because our defense alowing scores is way down...Adding another 7 points a game would only help this defense, its incredibly dumb logic to say "Look when we score less points the defense is better" ...incredible.

Teams are clogging the middle and forcing out routes because Rush arm is a gamble throwing them and he is a low threat to take the ball and run wide on a roll out. I'm not bashing Rush these things are to be expected when your having to play QB2. Your redzone offense will struggle when the field shrinks and with a QB who has limitations on throwinf routes it shrinks it even more...again its just the diference between QB1 and QB2 in todays NFL.

Its like alot of threads on here, it's a rebutal to another thread that was far on the otherside i imagine. Rush deserves huge credit, not many if any fans here could see him playing this well...but with this defense and ST if we can keep KM's head straight on this scheme Dak will bring better tools to the QB play as he should be expected too. the play call on the field goal was the correct call no matter who the QB is, you put the team down 2 scores late in the game when your defense is shutting them down all game like that.

I thought the play that told us the most about how they felt about him was the 3rd and 8 from inside their own 10. They threw that quick out to Gallup with almost no chance to convert because they didn't want to risk throwing it beyond the sticks. Let the guy throw the ball or run it. That call was not smart IMO

No matter who the QB is, going for the FG was the best move. Time running down, up by 12 points, D is all over the place. Go the the dressing room safe and sound with a win.
