Some of you guys do not understand situational football. With the way the defense is playing you kick the field goal in that situation to go up by two scores every single time. McCarthy knows this and will do it every single time. If we had Patrick Mahomes as our QB you still kick the FG every single time.

When your defense is shutting down the opposing offense the way it was its an easy decision.

As a long time Cowboys have I have seen great defense from this franchise and you bet this defense is a quality defense but I also expect the offense to produce, not saying we must be the #1 offense in the league but we must do better no question about it. I like Rush but anyone who thinks this offense is fine are either blind or agenda driven. Dak is not an elite QB however he is much better than Rush I love what Rush has been able to do thus far in avoiding mistakes but sooner or later an offense has to be more than one who makes few mistakes you also need to produce

Dak is lierally ranked 6th all time..ALL TIME in int/TD ratio, this is a fools argument as if Rush literally plays the next 86 games of his career with no turnovers he will be better than TB12 by a mile..you ready to plant that flag? You really think he will never turn the ball over?

You should be glad he's protecting the ball and leading us to wins. You sound really bitter instead though.

I agree. I love the way defense is playing but offense needs to do a better job. I don't put it all on Rush, but this offense must step up and improve overall as a unit.

Never said i wasnt glad, have said many times what he is doing is great for QB2, but can see this offense is not great and could be better with QB1 back and healthy...its really that simple.

Late in the 4th Q and our defense is playing lights out. You go up by 9 points and force them to score twice when they haven't proved they can score back to back. I don't care who is the QB, I make the same call and make them beat our defense.

Its the right call no matter who is QB, you stretch the lead on an offense that your defense has dominated the whole game. Now saying that you can certainly see what the coaches are asking QB2 to do and its minimal but thats generally the case with QB2, Rush has handled that well.
