While I agree that your a closet fan of some other team as no Eagles fan is remotely as courteous as I've seen you be. What other organization has fans who boo when a player is charted off on a stretcher? Can't think of any. What other org has had fans who throw batteries at opposing teams buses? Again I'm drawin a blank help me out talon, don't tell me I used a life line on you for nothing...Snow ball throwing...ahh so juvenile and fun...when your between the ages of 5-17 and your throwing them back and forth at each other, but ALAS(!) you have a friend in this category the NYJ (no surprise its a team from the New York area) share this "honor" with you, stay frosty my friend.

Don't forget that that idiot Ed Rendell who somehow wormed his way into being the governor of PA was once the mayor of that crap hole city. He admitted to throwing snow balls at Cowboy coaches and players when he was mayor. That the kind of city and fans they have.

Cleveland ...that's one freaking State among 49 others in this great United States! You are going to sit there and tell me that there are 31 teams with model fans who never misbehave?

Get the you know what out my face with that one!

True ...we're no Angels; but we all have disruptive fans; and you know that!

You're just as trashy for defending that childish behavior. Grow up.

How did they have that many snowballs? Did they spend all game making those just to prepare for that one onslaught?

It looked like, from the video, that they had some piles of snow still behind all the chairs so they had plenty around to make snowballs and throw them through out the game.

While i can't speak for all Eagle fans ...I consider myself a decent ambassador for my team. Let say that I see a Cowboys fan wearing a Cowboys jersey at an Eagles home game ...at the very worst, I would give them a thumbs down and perhaps tell them that I hope their team lose. But that's all in fun!

I would never go to the lengths of batteries in snowballs, or anything violent; that's not showing class. By the way, classless fans aren't exclusive to Eagle fans ...especially when you add drinks/drugs into the mix.

Get real ...fan misbehavior incidents occur in all franchises/fandoms.

I have to admit, "booing" bad calls/plays are almost traditional. Direct your attention to baseball for just a minute. How Many of you have seen baseball umpires abused by players, managers and fans. Incidents like Umps being hit by things thrown from the crowd, having dirt kicked up on their uniform and other incidents and forms of fans expressing their distain.

I think that this whole Eagle fans are violent is nothing more than an over-rated excuse to bad mouth a rival team. We Eagle fans have a kinder and gentler side too ;) .

PT

There are no doubt classy Eagles fans. I've known a few myself actually. But your fan base has routinely shown the ability to be worse than any others. There are unruly or rude fanse for every team, that much is a given, but nothing I've ever seen, in any sporting event I've went to, has crossed the line as often as Eagles fans and their classless, stupid, behavoir.

There is disruptive fans and then there are just plain stupid, classless, moronic people like the ones you've seen in that video.

Find anyone a video of New York, Chicago, Denver, or Pittsburgh fans where they're all ganging up together to pelt rival fans with snow or anything of that matter. I doubt, very seriously, you'll find any instances.

Eagles fans are the bottom of the barrell, for the most part, when it comes to fans of a sports franchise.

I cannot for the life of me understand why you continue to defend Eagles fans. It doesn't do you any justice. That wasn't violent in your opinion? Then your opinion stinks worse than your trash. Those people deserve to have their tickets revoked and to be banned from attending the games. Alcohol doesn't excuse anything. If it does then it needs to be banned at your home games because your drunks can't handle the liquid without becoming *******s.

I agree with Hos. You're a classy guy, when you come around here, so it doesn't really fit with you, and the other Eagles fans like yourself, to be trying to explain away or make the behavior like this, from the majority of your fan base, acceptable. There is no valid excuse for acting like that, not even drinking. If thats what happens when they drink then they need to ban alcohol from your stadium until the fans like those can learn to act like human beings and not caged animals.

These are the same fans that had to reind that WR of his baby dying just a couple of days prior....I can't remember his name...I believe it was a WR from the Broncos...white guy...

There is NO defending this fan base Talon....NONE. FCOL, you guys had a courtroom in your stadium a couple of years ago because it was so bad.

If anything Talon, defending them makes you look just as bad if not worse.

When I went to a game and saw fans of the opposing team, I didn't even say a thing to them....what's the point? They aren't on the field playing....boo and hiss all you want against the players and your team, but fans shouldn't be subject to abuse...

Do you want everybody here to post examples of how classless Philthy is? I gave probably the worst one above....a baby man....a baby.

What embarrasses me are the posts in THIS thread.

Are you guys idiots?

All I see in that video, is PEOPLE being *******s. People are *******s in EVERY STATE, EVERY COUNTRY.

To try to say it's "Eagle's Fans' is absurd. There are just as many Cowboy's fans who would do the exact same thing in the right situation, You're straight up ignorant if you don't believe that.

People do this kind of **** all the time, of all fan bases. Just because it's not gotten on camera doesn't mean it's not happening. I mean hell just look at the First Dal/NY game in the new stadium, read about all the incidents they had in the party pass section, the people getting drunk and disruptive.

Lol to say no Cowboys fans would ever do this just blows my mind, unreal.

It disgusts me that people act like that, but it happens, everywhere, trying to make it fanbase specific is wacko.

You are out of your ever loving mind. This should be said about Bengals fans because it happened in Philadelphia? One or two fans I can understand. They also are likely to get tossed. This was not one or two fans it was entire sections of fans who did it just for the sake of being jerks. The worst part is the victims got tossed and the jerks were left alone. You pull this at a Cowboys game near me and I am going to applaud as you are hauled away. There's no need for jerk fans at games.

Lol ...someone here couldn't understand why I'm defending those eagle fans:D

I'm only defending those countless numbers of decent football loving eagle fans who do not throw snowballs or misbehave. Only a few here seem to want to make that acknowledgement for some unknown reason.

Listen, if I'm defending all Eagle fans (good and otherwise) ...then most of you guys are in denial, because you can't seem to understand that there are just as many fans from all of the other NFl franchises who are just as disruptive and in some cases violent.

It's ridiculous to think for one moment that anyone would condone the disruptive before captured in the video. Perhaps in stead of always making lewd comments abOut what's wrong with a fan base, you should start making recommendations about what could be done to change the behavior (in all situations and fan bases) ...

Videos could be used to identify seat numbers or fans that contribute to the disruptive behaviors ...and bring charges for arrest.

Tighter rules could be enforced at the stadium

Remove season ticket holders for the remainder of the season

Computerize violators to prevent them from purchasing tickets during the sseason

Anyone can criticize ...do something to make change! Perhaps the NFL Commissioner should get involved.

Not to defend Phillthy fans or anything, but I've seen FAR FAR FAR worse behavior than this at SEC football games. I mean...they just had snowballs lobbed at them. Ive seen people hit over the head with stadium chairs, signs being jerked out of people's hands, beer thrown, fistfills of change being hurled point-blank into other people's faces, and plain 'ol fistfights.

I've seen worse at many youth football games.

someone please find for me;

A few years back, there was an Eagles fan who went by the name of "Die-Hard".

He wrote a letter going all out to defend how the Philly fan was "misunderstood", and simply "passionate" and how we were wrong to declare them the savages that many of them clearly are.

Someone responded to that letter with a picture of "Die-Hard" punching a Giants fan square in the face at what seemed to be The Vet.

Much props to anyone who can pull that up. Sums up the whole thing to me, honestly.

I lived in Philly for almost a decade. They are nothing but a bunch of northeastern pukes.

Classless people, born and bred that way.

The only thing that kept me from being completely outraged by that video was the fact that those WERE niners fans being hit by snowballs, afterall. :laugh1:

I'm going to call bull. Show me stories and evidence of this from every other NFL team. It doesn't have to be snowballs. I want evidence of over the top unruly behavior at all NFL stdiums and not just one example because we have shared dozens with you about Eagles fans.

How you can continue to defend this is galling.

We have. Stop letting them act like thugs would be a start. Your team and city do not do enough to curb this stuff.

You are preaching to the choir. This is what isn't being done and why your team's fans are being labeled as they are.

Stop defending them.

We are talking about measures to stop them. You are saying they aren't that bad. You're full of crap.
