Dez 13 targets, 5 receptions, accounted for half the incompetions Dak threw. At what point do they stop forcing the ball to him?

Never. The second we stop doing that, the second he turns into a crybaby. He is our first round pick and we gave a big extension, too. We want to force ourselves to get the production we feel we need. Dez bogs this offense down. When he was injured last year, this offense was at its peak in efficiency. Dak was so comfortable getting every one involved.

Once again...what free agents would've improved this defense this offseason?

Any SS would have been an upgrade on Heath.

Carroll was a horrendous signing. There were better CB options out there.

They knew they had a depth problem at LB. They also are weak at the 1 tech.

Any one of those areas could have been better addressed in FA and the D would be better.

And no, they didn't have to spend 200 million to do that.

What about Martin?
He’s not a FA until after 2018 season.

Calais Campbell would’ve been nice so would AJ Bouye or Stephan Gilmore. Richard Sherman was also available via trade. Either of those players makes us a better team instantly.

250 3 Tds is below average?
He was atrocious in the pocket. Terrible. He's so inaccurate that he hamstrings Linehan. He can't read anything. Holds the ball way too long.

The Rams secondary is horrendous. Stats don't tell the story. He only completed 13 passes last week, and that was his best game.

I wasn't pointing out typos....you attempted to discredit me by assuming I wasn't following this team in 2007...but by doing so I pointed out you spelled Sparano's name wrong....why are you in your feelings about that? It's not that serious goodness....

Instead of pointing out why you thought Romo was so good in 2007, you resorted to being Ms. Spelling bee. If you had read the posts fully, you'd understand.

Not sure I would have paid Bouye or Gilmore of the plan was go heavy in draft for CBs. But there were better, cheaper (relative to Gilmore, Bouye), shorter term options than Carroll.

I gotta agree with erod. Dak is handicapping this offense. If that run game isn’t hitting on all cylinders DAK is pedestrian. Romo would consistently put up 300 yards passing with these same WRs. No rythem in the passing game. If it’s 3rd and more than 5 forget it.

So your answer is just anyone. If we had put anyone out there we would've won today and beat the Broncos?

Some of his pocket passes, even with limited pressure are off target and floaters.

I'll be honest, part of me wonder if he has an injury that hasn't been disclosed. Like dealing with a sore shoulder or something.

I don't recall such erraticism from him last year.

LOL.

Yes. I think if we had a better SS than Heath and a better DE to pair with Lawrence we would have won today. Denver is tough. That was a total team meltdown.

The offense was at least watchable. It’s been almost unbearable for 4 weeks. The passing offense has been horrible outside of 2 butler jump balls. Beasley and witten are non existent. He’s just starting down DEZ. You just can’t rely on bootlegs. It’s been almost unwatchable. Almost Brandon weeden Matt cassell level.

The OL has been average at best this year all our offensive inconsistencies starts up front

This D was always going to be bad but when the supposedly good part of your team is also playing bad You're not winning many games

Yep...Dak Sucks....he apparently needs to get 38 pts/game in order to win. Tom Brady also only got 30 points today and also Sucks since he lost.

Brady didn't have his best game, but the guy has 16 years of solid play under his belt in this league. Though, he actually came through in the clutch....unlike Dak.

Romo carried a 4-12 roster to playoff contention.

Dak is good when everything is perfect. He carries nothing. Yet.

And Zeke has been worse than Dak. 3.6 ypc thru 4 games. He carries nothing yet.

And Romo carried us to the playoffs all by hmself. He also played OL, WR, TE, RB, FB, DT, DE, LB, CB, S, P, K, etc.
