This Might Fire You Up

DeMarcus Ware believes he left 6 sacks on the field last year. In other words, if he had done one thing different on each play he could have had 26 sacks. Because of that, he's setting his goal for 2009 at 25.

Will he get it? Who the heck knows, but I like the goal.

i remember 3 myself. 1 against donovan, one against ben rothlisberger, and i believe one agains kurt warner of all people.

he left one in the PIttsburgh game on a Big Ben scramble, Ben shrugged him off. Gotta love his passion for wanting to be the best

I have to scratch my head at the same fans who sat through years of Mike Zimmer and his 25 sack defenses now saying that this team doesn't get enough QB pressure.

Or the fans that want to do nothing but gripe about Romo.

Makes you wonder if they even watched the team when we were bad.

I'll be honest with ya, 7 more sacks by Ware would be great but I would prefer he gets 20 again and those 7 go to Spencer. Heck, I would be thrilled if Ware got 15, Spencer 7 and Igor 5.

My point is if we can get some increased pressure from the other 10 guys on defense our defense would be better off. You can slow down one guy, you cant account for everyone.

I agree. They need Spencer to step up his pass rushing to help balance or stretch out the opposing team's offensive line protection, which would really make everyone difficult to block.

Most of the fans that gripe about Romo these days are mostly TO fans....

Fact...

;)

How bout we get to 20 again 2 seasons in a row. Especially since 20 sacks in 1 season has historically happened for a LB very few times as it is throught the entire NFL. Let alone 2 seasons in a row.

Terrible logic here. The futility of past teams has no bearing on how you assess a current team or it's players.

Cause zimmers D had fewer sacks doesn't change how our defense folded like a cheap suit (AGAINST TERRIBLE OFFENSES pitt, bal) late.

Using your logic you'd be happy to have only lost $10,000 in investments this year because you lost $30,000 in a poor investment last year. ;)

Everything about ware fires me up.

I can not wait till he comes out of that tunnel against the giants at the home opener...90,000 people are going to let him hear how much they love him and it is going to be awe inspiring.

How many days till we play the giants.

142 days :star: :starspin

Sweet.

In other news, Patrick Crayton announced he left a dozen touchdowns on the field last year.

Ware is due for a down year or an injury. Sorry folks!

Why do people say a person or team is due an injury? What kind of logic leads to that conclusion?

Why do people think Andrew Dice Clay was funny?

Some people just can't help themselves.

i could care less about sacks.......id rather we give up 7-10 less pts per game......
