This team is stacked, but how do we rein in Dak, use him in an efficient and safe way?

No..not best classic album ever. Didn't say that.

I will however rephrase that....ONE of the best live albums ever. Michael Schenker was doing long melodic leads before VH. Influenced MANY of the great guitar players.

And yes...we were blessed to be in a great time of music for sure!
My bad I glossed over the live part. I also seen Michael schenker live in Nuremburg 1982. Open air concert was damn good. man so many live albums to choose from. I loved me some Frampton comes alive. Dude we may disagree on a lot of football takes but maybe in another life we can share a refreshment and discuss music. We better let these folks get back to their "Deek Bashing" you know they have to get their quota in until a mod comes and locks the thread and then they go out and repharse another thread. Rinse and repeat

Feel the same way old friend!

I used to think Rush exit stage left was one of the best. Now there's always SOME production in live recordings but that album is barely" live ". Everything but drums redone in the studio. I'm CRUSHED! :). Still fun to listen to.

What they are doing is eliminating the constant option routes which were obviously keeping the QB and receivers on different pages. Additionally, instead of relying on option and timing routes to get open they are instead going to the more WCO style of route combinations and formations to scheme people open.

The protection scheme has also been changed. No details on how.

In short, the offense is getting an overhaul. I cannot wait to see what they do with the run game.
Thank you for spelling that out a bit. I hope you are right im looking forward to this overhaul too!

Dak has to be limited to about 25-28 passes a game. This, of course, means the Cowboys must be dominant in the running game.

The Cowboys cannot miss out on getting a productive RB in the draft and I hope they draft two of them.

Pollard has never carried the load that will be expected of him next season. Should he struggle or get injured, the season is over without a RB that can make pays. They will need Robinson or Gibbs. Since the RB position is so deep, supposedly, they should not hesitate to grab another if they happen to like him and he is the proper value where he got drafted. For example, imagine getting both Gibbs and Bigsby.

As far as Dak goes, check it, the Cowboys are 27-1 when Dak throws 28 or less passes in the game. In addition, in these games he has a combined 40 TD's and 9 INT's.

Obviously, that's only possible if the running game is being productive enough.

The Cowboys got some bruisers on the line and I know they would prefer to run block for a good RB rather than pass block.

He doesnt have to. I think he can be just as effective as zeke probably more so, but having a workhorse Rb is rare and requires the line being upgarded or having prime barry sanders. I agree lets draft a running back for sure

Rush was a 3 piece band whose songs required a lot more than just 3 instruments. Their live shows were a lot different than their studio tracks, but I know at least 2x that I saw them they had a couple of large tape reels playing along with them on stage.

So you are a mod now? Oh no, you are the internet Cowboys feelings police. Well, keep up the good work and keep answering the calls to whine-1-1
Yes, I’m the Haters mod. And you’re high on my list. Now you go back to throwing darts at your Dak poster.

Im a huge fan....and to the best of my knowledge....there were no "recorded" tracks used. Possibly some vocal spots. Almost everything was done with samplers that had to be triggered by one of them.
They are known for funny stage props.

You think “we can’t expect more than 36% completion rate” is not imaginary, distasteful and disingenuous?
You came at me about this when i never said otherwise. Your agenda prevented you from seeing my point. Even if you disagree with it.
I Only commented the distaste and especially disingenuity comes from both extremes.

I don't think it's the run/pass ratio. Dak has always played better in a "hurry-up" scheme. He makes the majority of his mistakes when the game slows down, with time to overthink, rather than being able to trust his instincts & athleticism.

This thread ran its course the second you posted it. Just another opportunity for wasted bandwidth but carry on
And here you are, little guy. Sticking around to the end.
Do you have a hobby? Do you have a girl or a boy friend?
Maybe corresponding with a nice young man from Thailand or the Netherlands.
Off you go, champ. Go play with the kids if they will let you.
