This will be the game that takes Jerry over the edge

You're hoping, I'm sure.
If it means getting away from mediocrity yes. I dont want another 8-8 ish season and a mid round pick. Id rather have a high pick and continue adding youth. And most of all adding a real QB and Olineman. Its very sad that Jerry is forced to tell the fans to cheer on 3rd down. Thats unbelievable.I want another ring as a fan not 8-8 year after year.Mediocrity is not what the Cowboys name should be about.

Darren Woodson had to ask the fans to make noise and when to do it back in the mid 90's.

So I don't think that's tied to losing. Our fans just suck.

No its a fan thats tired of mediocrity and understands reality. Its time for change with this team and it will be warranted by ATL.

Understands reality? That's funny because the original post is so far from reality it's ridiculous. It's a shame how fans on here start threads declaring a game is over before it's even played, and then afterwards claim that it's because they're "living in reality". I guess the rest of us that realize this is a week to week league and that anything can happen are living in some sort of delusion? The Cowboys are certainly capable of beating the Falcons. If you're so sure it'll be a blow out, then don't watch the game.

The Falcons secondary won't be able to handle dez this week...yall just watch.

Dez will go HAM. 200+ receiving, 3 TDs

Will make Roddy and Julio second guess their assertion that they are better than Dallas' WRs.

You know what. I forgot about that. That should be huge motivation.

What should be huge motivation? Roddy and Julio acknowledging the fact they are a much better WR duo than Austin and Dez?

I'm not sure if you have at any point in your life competed at a high level in any field of athletics, but I can say without a shadow of a doubt if an opponent claims that they are superior to you as an individual, it should absolutely be motivation.

I'm not sure if you saw the interview but they didn't claim anything. They were asked if they were better than Dallas' duo and they laughed. As they should have. It was a ridiculous comparison. There isn't a GM in the league outside of Dallas that would take Austin and Dez over those two.

Much worse without Parcells. Without his years and the core he put together, this team is as bad as any in the league over the last decade and a half.

I did not see the interview. But if they laughed, then I would say as a competitor that's as good as claiming that they are better. And it should definitely serve as extra motivation (Dallas shouldn't need any extra motivation at this point, given the circumstances, however). Regardless of whether it's a ridiculous comparison or not, it should serve as motivation to a competitor.

I don't see it. When something's obvious you shouldn't feel slighted. Ray Rice would laugh too if he was asked if he was better than the Cowboys' backs.

I don't see how you don't see it. If you've ever competed at a high level in any field of athletics you should absolutely be motivated (not slighted, no one ever brought up the word slighted) if someone you're competing against is laughing at the thought of you possibly being better than them.

This right here should explain why he doesn't get it. It explains a lot of his posts.

I do figure that our WRs could outperform their WRs in this game, cause simply we have better CBs and we have been better against WRs than the Falcons have all season.

Its not like our WRs and their WRs will be on the field together, there will be a defensive out there and that will affect their performances. Of course I'm not just pointing you out in particular, just in general all that is seemed to worry about is what the offense is doing lately and ignoring the fact that this team might actually be becoming a defensive team that just needs the offense to stop turning the ball over.

Back to our regularly scheduled offense sucks thread without caring how we can actually win the game (some would rather be right than win a game).

Once I crack this code I'll have a stinging rebuttal.

:laugh2: CCboy's post are headscratchers from time to time.

Jerry doesn't care. Sure he wants to win but as long as he' making money, he will keep the status quo

Pretty much.....why should he care anymore?

This exact team has been with Dallas for over a Decade, same QB, receiving threat and Defensive playmaker......so blame Romo, Witten and Ware for their windows closing.
