And if Patrick Crayton catches balls that hit him right in the hands and Terry Glenn doesn't fumble balls on the 5 yard line, I guess that means Romo magically discovered "clutch" ability?


Maybe Romo just needs to be visited by the magical "clutch" fairy. Just like the magical "clutch" fairy visited Eli in the middle of the night and sprinkled magic "clutch" dust on him so he could singlehandedly will David Tyree to catch balls against his helmet. But then the magical "clutch" fairy stole Eli's magical clutch abilities away in the middle of the night before last year's playoffs. She's so fickle ... this magical "clutch" fairy.

You either have it or you don't Romo hasnt had it so far. I agree that Romo could use some help, guys like Romo haven't had the luxury of a defense like Eli or Big Ben BUT you still have to make a play in a tight spot once in awhile. Whether it's the team or the player, it has to be a puzzle that fits together and this team has not come close yet. Maybe it will now. We'll see but the undeniable truth is that Romo is not "clutch" in December or January no matter how you'd like to spin it or blame it on others. He's taken some ugly sacks and made some ugly throws in December and January so your non-objectiveness shines through in trying to blame others solely....

great post!!! You just tell it like you see it. I wore my Romo jersey to work this past friday but doesn't mean I fully believe he can win in December/January.

The homers that only see thru silver and blue and not with realism and reality. The will be in denial again. Same story will write itself in December and this time Wade of JG will be the scapegoat. Then only after Bill, TO, Wade/JG have all left, we will all realize that he was the common denominator the entire time.

Then why watch them?
Leave and come back after the Romo era is over.

I do not believe that Romo has it in him to take this team to a super bowl.

I do believe that Romo will have GREAT games, make Great plays, win lots of games and take us to he playoffs.

The bottom line is that Tony Romo is a really good quarterback.

He is in the phase of his career where he has proven he is a great Regular Season Quarterback and now he has to prove he can win in the Playoffs.

Every great Quarterback in history arrived at this phase at one point.

Besides, is there anyone that would even claim that Tony Romo isn't a better QB than Brady Quinn?
