The Good:
Leary- game over livings.
Fred- huge upgrade over costa.
Selvie- what a find.

Need to watch the game again before I call out the bad.

Selvie, Tanner, and there was a DT whose name I don't remember but came up with a nice stuff near the goal line. Those 3 stood out to me the most. Travis Frederick also played really well.

Matt Johnson and JJ Wilcox did not impress me.

What was wrong with Johnson's play?

Good:

Selvie
Hollaman
Tanner

Bad:

Wilcox (where is the guy that was blowing people up in camp?)
Arkin (all you have to do is bull rush him)
Tyron (saw some nice run blocks from him, and he did his job in pass pro...edit: no idea why I put this under "Bad")
Ok the real third "Bad" one is... Dion Jordon (I know he's not a cowboy). I took a third team T for him to get pressure, he did NOTHING vs the starting OL.

Keep in mind Cole had 2 horribly thrown balls to him, would have most likely been two completions and a TD with Romo in the game.

He got dinged up, so people think he's injury prone now.

I think it's a foregone conclusion that he IS injury prone. He can still have value as a backup and special teamer, but no one can rely on that guy to be your starting Safety for even half a season.

I get that.
But I thought the question was about how good they played...and I was king of impressed with that

I think the question was "three guys that disappointed".. so people see he got hurt and even though the only reason he didn't return was because it was a preseason game, they think he's injury prone so they poo poo about him.

Tanney didnt do much but he has a future, his zip and accuracy on his passes are great,he needs better protection though.

If Beasley didnt fall down and stayed on his feet he could've helped his QB out

He didn't fall down, he went to the ground to try to get to the ball that was coming in a few inches off the ground. It was a bad throw.

I thought Stephens looked better, tbh. I get that people are preconditioned to root for Tanney and want to think he's going to be great because of his "viral video star" status.. but it's going to take alot more than a few trick passes to become an NFL star.
