GM: Troy Aikman
HC: Tony Romo
OC: Jason Witten
DC: Demarcus Ware

We’d go undefeated for at least a decade with this Avengers squad assembled. It’s time for Jerry to really go all in.
Is Jose Cortez around to be the special teams coach? He could at least maybe light a fire under some of our OL.

(the funny thing is that the play I am referring to was the only missed XP of his career). ;)

Funny Moose is left off this list. Very well spoken, and I believe he GM's a UFL or XFL team.

The issue and what will always be the issue until he is 6 feet under is that he thinks it’s all about him and he won’t can’t have anyone taking away from his 83 year old spot light, don’t forget what matters are his radio interviews and giving his opinion after every freaking game like the clown he is

I don't know about that specific dream team. But it's incredibly frustrating that the most valuable sports franchise on the face of the earth goes so cheap on their coaching staff. There is no salary cap! Jerry could hire anyone he wants. Get the best coaches. The Cowboys have the best facilities in the league with AT&T and The Star. Almost $2.5 billion invested. Goes discount shopping for head coaches. Doesn't make a darn bit of sense to me and I always felt it sends the wrong message to the players.
Fans actually believe Jerry unloads his bank account with contracts for Dak, CD, DLaw, soon to be MP and that he is a big spender...
Just not true at all, every team in the league has a required salary cap max and minimum.
Jerry is actually one of the cheapest owners in the league when it comes to shelling out real money.

This is absolutely the truth , so hard to understand , mind boggling.

Laugh out loud at suggestions that either Aikman or Romo would step away from their lucrative part-time jobs to take on this mess.

Witten and Ware are more realistic targets - though Ware was never really known as a ‘leader’ during his playing career. I think I’d be more interested in getting Sean Lee involved in coaching the defense.
I think Sean Lee would be a good defensive coodinater , but it would be best for him to start out as Linebackers coach and work his way up.

Tony Romo could absolutely be a defensive coordinator, but never never never a head coach. And never an offensive coordinator.
I would really like to hear your thought process on this. I think Romo would be really good at any row he chose, GM, HC, OC, DC.

What makes you think he would only be a good DC?

Troy was a great player for the Cowboys but I don’t think he would be good at any of the roles you listed.

Add Quincy Carter as Qb coach and it's a winner

i would love to see troy run the entire organization. Give him a 5 year deal with the understanding the Jones family stays away. Lets see where we are in 5 years.

GM: Jerry Jones
HC: Vince Lombardi
OC: Tom Landry
DC: Bill Belichick

That team still doesn’t win due to guess why, but it definitely “hangs around that rim.”
So..... By association, you are saying that Jimmy Johnson and, Heaven forbid, Barry Switzer were both better than Lombardi, Landry, and Belichick COMBINED?

Offensive coordinator. They already know what he’s capable of and what he can do his playbook. Defensive coordinator he would be brilliant because he can plain against a great offense. Head coach, I don’t think he has the people skills. I think you’d have BFFs and the locker room would be divided.

People pick names out of the sky and just because they played the game. They think they have people skills. Just because they were Hall of Fame players does that mean they can translate it to coaching
Agreed. I would never higher any of them, but maybe Troy.

No, I’m saying that some of the best coaches in history on the same staff would not likely succeed under boss Jerry and his undermining antics and poor roster building philosophies.

The OP was about “dream team” coaches. Wouldn’t matter.

I'd have interest in Tony as a QB Coach and maybe a Coordinator, and recall that he had talked about being a DC, not an OC.

Sean Lee absolutely as a position coach.

GM: Peewee Herman
HC: Wile E. Coyote
OC: Ronald McDonald
DC: Oprah

And it wouldn't make a difference. But at least the clown show would be genuine.
