people need to quit with the "yeah but who is better" line, because honestly just about ANYBODY can do what Parcells is doing today...if his name wasnt Parcells, would anyone be wanting him to stay? seriously...if his name were Norv Turner or Rich Kotite would ANYONE be singing our coaches praises and talking about all the "progress"??? I think not

the game has passed Parcells by...we get outcoached badly by virtually every good team we play...we had one of the most embarrassing months in franchise history...the defense is a joke...the OL is mediocre at best...we havent improved one iota over the record he did his first yr...we havent won a division title and we havent won a playoff game...

people have too much fear of the unknown...just because we get a guy who isnt Parcells, doesnt mean we're gonna fall flat on our face and be 1-15

If you could get all three and it was clear that Mike and Leach would be running the game, then I could see it. What I wonder about is how good of a talent spotter is Stoops?

Some that are coming to my slightly anebriated brain are Tommy harris and that offevsive lineman for the Saints Jammal Brown.Both who are still playing while the rest of the league is watching cartoons.There are quite a few more but I am running on about 6 cylinders.Adrian peterson looks to be a very decent back coming out.Bob has done a good job of luring players away from Texas as well.His time at Florida State when they were at the peak of thier program I'm sure helped him to recognize good talent.My opinion he would have to have his brother Mike to run the defense to have a better chance for succsess. I also heard yesterday he may be luring Mitch Mustain,the QB who is leaving Arkansaw,to play at OU.Would be a good coupe with the departure of Rhett Bomar.I know it would never happen ,Bob Stoops coming here,but I gave my opinion nonetheless.I for one do not believe Bob has lost the luster of previous years as some have indicated.

and Stoops (PROVIDING he brings his brother) and the guy from Boise State and Miles from LSU.
and for NEXT year the consensus seems to be to try and get Cowher.
LeBeau would be a good DC to grab if possible. Hennings as OC.
