ROH without Jimmy is useless
this voting should be by the fan not JJ and his son

I would have respected him a lot more had he won more than one playoff game. And then all those pre-snap penalties. The guy was just a loser.
Do you believe Tony Gonzalez deserves to be in the Hall of Fame? Just asking, because it's kind of the same thing with Witten and the Ring of Honor.

I never said Witten didn't deserve to be in the Hall of Fame because he put up some great stats, but they were all for him and not really for the team. And a lot of those teams were probably the most talented in the league. Never could win a thing. Gonzalez on the other hand played for many bad teams. They still have the same amount of playoff wins. One.

The Hall of Fame and the Ring of Honor are two different things. There was nothing honorable about what he did here. Unless you consider quitting in December honorable. Because his teams did that every year. He was on them, he was a major part, he did nothing to change it. I don't ever want to see him again.

Not a thing. I don't want to see anyone from the Romo era in the ring of honor. If you can't win anything you don't deserve to be in it.

Never even thought about it that way, but you’re right, that is the new reality.

This will be the first generation of Cowboys players in decades elected to the Ring of Honor where we have to consider that. You have to go back to the very first players like Don Meredith and Don Perkins to find a large collection of good players who had great careers that never touched the Super Bowl.

Sad times.

Yep. Don't reward mediocrity and don't remind the fans who had to live through it. These guys are gone and let them stay gone.

It's been 7 years since Jerry has put a player in the Ring of Honor. Isn't Witten the most likely next one up there? I guess the other two candidates would be D. Ware and Deion (though Deion maybe won't get in because he only played here 5 seasons).
No.
