I'm not anti Punk by any means...the guy is as solid as they come. I just based it on age...pedigree..nothing more really. To me right now Orton would & should be THE man you ride with but it's just opinion. In fact the two of them had one of the best feuds in recent memory & their WM match was superb.

This debate is really pointless though, because they arn't even on the same show. Punk definitely deserves another run as champion, and he sure as hell at least deserves to be in the title picture. Right now they got weiners like R Truth and Rey Mysterio in the championship picture but not Punk. That's insanity.

Hmmm...well they work for the same company..they've wrestled each other before..had a long feud so I feel I can compare them. And I would take Randy over Punk. They're both great wrestlers.

You can compare them.. but they are both on different shows right now so if the higher ups thought of Punk at all, they could both be THE guy on their respective shows. As it is though, Punk isn't even in the picture for the title right now and that's foolishness.

To me Orton is the better wrestler between the two...

Orton is not so great in the ring when he has to carry someone, you put him in there with a stiff, and it'll be a poor match. You put Punk in there with anyone, and it'll be decent. Watch some of his work in ROH from the early part of the decade, he was the AJ Styles of ROH, the company just never grew enough

Well if you look at it, "The" guy of Raw is Triple H, and "The" guy on SD is Undertaker.. Then John Cena under H, and Orton under Taker.

What is it with you guys? I have said it is my opinon about those two & you bring up well go watch Punk in this other federation...who cares? He's been with WWE for what 3 or 4 years? I don't care what he did there....I'm talking about them in the WWE. Head to head. I think Punk is a great wrestler. I've always said that.

The hit the same 5 moves in the same order, building up to their finisher, and then they hit that and its over. I swear the last month or two im watching the same match over and over again.. and they just pull that crap right under everyone's noses.

I've noticed too, its been far longer then a month.. The only people that have unique matches anymore are Triple H and Undertaker... There gone.

Cena, 5 moves. Orton 6 moves, (clothesline, clothesline, slam, angle slam & the banging on the ground for a rko, RKO)... Punk, wrestles this stupid style against rarely anyone good...


He should've been moved to SD, could've worked some ROH style matches against Daniel Bryan, some mexico style matches against Sin Cara, then move back into the stupid WWE style no one in the world likes, and win the world title in a few months after putting in great wrestling matches for people who actually care.

CM Punk & Daniel Bryan are the only two performers in the company that can world every style, and they are both put into meaningless storylines unable to show there insane abilities.

You didn't.. because the point was not that you can't compare wrestlers.. it was saying that BOTH could be THE man for their respective brands right now. You said Orten should be THE man over Punk, but Punk could very well be THE man on Raw right now if they pushed him correctly.
