Was out all day and was wondering how this was playing out here...14 pages huh? What did I miss? LOL

Judge Rogah, I mean Berman, seemed to have it out for Goodell and made up a ruling on the fly.

He didn't say Brady was innocent, but that ignorance is a legitimate excuse.

I guess it was the NFL's fault for trying to go judge shopping, like they say, 'be careful for what you wish for'

Finally some common sense brought into this travesty. I'll post more updates as I get them. Can't wait to read the judge's ruling.

Travesty? Jeebus. You are the most obvious troll since Charlie Chaplin decided he should show his pubes.

I take that remark as a high compliment.

Amazing how the very first truly impartial person of authority to look at this whole things sounds so much like what I've sounded like for the past 8 months now, huh?

Well first of all, the verdict didn't change my mind about Brady. He did it. It also didn't change my mind about Goodell. I still think he's incompetent and power hungry. If anything good comes out of this, I hope his power is reduced. Protect the shield...all Goodell does is damage it.

I am impartial. I always defended Brady when people say he never took a pay cut. I drafted him in the 10th round LAST Weds in my money league.

I also know he is guilty and he deserved to be punished. 4 games seemed fair for cheating in the AFCCG.

You also said he is guilty but he only deserved a fine.

But I also am one of the few to give you credit when you are right. Goodell over punishes DV cases and doesn't care. He won't go light on DV again.

Well, 3 more truly unbiased, independent people in authority will be looking at it within about a year or so. Expect more of the same.

I do expect the them to overrule Berman, but it will be quietly next March.

Nothing that the appeals court does will be done quietly.

Whelp now hardy, lawrence and gregory will make to sure to properly deflate Brady's ballz when they sack him lol

Don't make Rogah cry. Good lord, he can't even pronounce Roger without adding that idiotic Boston accent to it. I so hate M*******s.

True story. I've been a Cowboys fan since 1977. 1989-1993 I lived in upstate NY. I found the Gnats fans tolerable. Bills and Jets fans not so much. Every time I crossed the border into Massachusetts I found the most villainous hive of scum and douchebags. The worst people on the planet.

No, it's a matter of not giving a guy a 20 year sentence at Supermax for going 70 in a 65 MPH zone.

So what was Wade Wilson's punishment for getting five games for using something for his ED analogous to? Getting the death penalty for sipping a slurpee at Seven-Eleven before paying for it? The judge basically got him off due to the process. Nothing more.

Give me a break dude. Brady violated the rules. He cheated as a member of an organization that promotes a culture of cheating. They even cheated in the same playoffs in the prior game against the Ravens. One they could have easily lost.

The CBA says the penalty for tampering with equipment (including game balls) is a $50K fine. If the commissioner would have fined him that amount, this whole controversy would have been averted. But because he had an ulterior motive, it's now too late to fine Brady.

If the commissioner had any integrity, he would not appeal. But, Roger has a history of making these arbitrary decisions, like suspending QB coach Wade Wilson 5 games and fining him $100K for taking medication related to his diabetes (on charges of using performance enhancing substances...AS A COACH!!), versus suspending Ray Rice on DV charges for only two games (only after the video was released), then changing it to whatever wound up happening with that situation.

There is no doubt in my mind Brady and the Pats used to cheat, are cheating, and will continue to cheat. But the Commissioner is just as wrong, more so really, as he should set the corporate example for personal integrity and conduct.

I think you've forgotten about Philadelphia Eagle fans.
