If you can't score when you need it most....it's a problem. Dak had 5 4th qtr comebacks in 2016. 5 since.

I won;t worry about who did what in the 2016 wins. Nor who did what in the misses. It is just an interesting stat.

If the defense does it’s job who cares when we score the points? If they hold the Packers to their season average of 18 points, and we score 28 points in the first quarter and zero the rest of game, we win by 10.

The final score could care less when the points are scored.

We lost ALSO because the offense couldn't establish anything....for whatever reason. Their 2 turnovers contributed to our defense having their back to the wall with a guy who's "famous"...for come backs.

So what we scored 28. So what we're up 14. So what the defense caved. Our offense did nothing..worse than nothing....when it mattered the most.

Blame belongs on both sides of the ball, and you can throw in both coordinators and lastly an overzealous Zebra crew. This team still does not have a dominate unit to close out victories.

Did he tell his RB coach he was done and had nothing left? He either did or didn't. I don't believe the coach made it up.

If a player comes up to me and says he's done and he didn't even have a full workload I'm not thinking this guy is a workhorse.

Well, even if he told his coach he was done he still got an additional 40 or so snaps the next week, so who knows.

Fact:
Zeke’s highest snap count this season is 41.

Pollard's high snap count number could have contributed to our lost. It was by no means Pollard fault, but Moore pretty much abandoned the run, in the fourth, when we had a 14 point lead. Could it be that Moore didn't want to run Pollard into the ground? Who knows, but a 14 point lead in the fourth is when you want to start running the ball. Yet, Moore didn't. Malik Davis came in at the end of the third and made some nice runs, yet Moore pulled him.

It's just Kellen Moore went out of his way to make sure CeeDee Lamb got over a hundred yards and to make sure Tony Pollard played a whole game. So he let Pollard play, but didn't use him. When a team sets out to set the fan straight and the media straight, that's when you know they're not being coached well.

This defense is supposed to be good. Again, 4th and 7 in the 4th quarter up 14 points…defense folded.

Notice we don’t hear about red zone efficiency issues with dak and pollard running the show.

It’s the context in which Pollard said it. I believe it was after Pollard ripped off the 50+ yarder in 4th quarter (there’s sideline audio of it IIRC). The Cowboys had a five play drive with Pollard running the ball for four of them, accounting for 72 yards.

Pollard came off the field after the TD and joked that he was done.

Either way, despite Pete’s assertion, the team gave Pollard 30 more snaps in the Packers game than Zeke has recieved had at any point the last two seasons.

There's blame ALL THE WAY AROUND. Including the offense. A team with killer instincts...scores in that 4th qtr. Defense doesn't cave, but two int doesn't help THEM any. Coaches take scoring opportunities and call killer plays.

Agreed as ive said we were told we would "Run the Ball and play good defense" and when the chips were on the table we did neither....everyone is to blame for it...they need to fix it moving forward.
