Both teams know what they can do and how to win with it.

Do we?

(just a questionnot arguing your point)
Our offense has improved game by game since the Niner game. Of course there have been some hiccups. Hopefully, our O will be at its best come playoff time. Able to run the ball or throw the ball on 3rd and 3-4.
I do hope over the next few weeks we focus on improving on the QB sneak on 3rd or 4th and 1. Philly is unstoppable at it. We need to be at 90% or higher. There is no excuse for throwing the ball on 4th and 1.

All 3 teams that lost on Thanksgiving( Detroit, Washington, and Seattle ) failed to convert on 4th and 1 AND non of them tried the QB sneak!
Philly makes it look soooo easy and many teams won’t even try it during the 4th quarter when they need a 1st down badly.

Pollard has been successful running inside the tackles when there is some blocking. Did you see his 20 yard run up the middle for a TD vs Carolina?

The first 6-7 games most of the runs were very basic plays, up the middle, with very little blocking.

If the play design improves and the blocking improves Pollard will be VERY successful!!
It's not about one play, it's about consistently gaining yards. Polly does not do that well up the middle.

Any RB can run for yards if there's a huge hole every time. If Polly cannot make some yards when nothing is there, then he's average to below average.
