Worst comment ever. Completely devoid of any facts. Post that crap on Facebook.
Apples and oranges. Why should I, as a truck driver make so much less than an NFL player? From a players point of view....
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas is the latest player to speak out against the NFL’s collective bargaining proposal. Thomas didn’t have to go in depth when making his point, either. All he had to do was mention Tony Romo’s new contract with CBS.
Thomas, 26, argued NFL players shouldn’t agree to the new collective bargaining proposal when an NFL announcer can make more than “90% of the players.”

That's funny stuff, but honestly, I don't get where you think Romo has a tendency to get lazy. Thanks Sunshine. You have a nice day. Try not to knock over too many old ladies on your way to Church.

I think there are actually people who would tune in to watch a game on TV , that they otherwise wouldn't, simply because Romo is commentating. That alone makes it worth the money to CBS.I agree with you. I think Michael's point is the fans in the stadium people don't pay to see Romo, they pay to see the players play.
Overall, if it came down to having the truckers bringing food to the stores, and gas to the pumps, people would be much happier to see a trucker.
When he wasn't injured, Romo was in very good shape, and from what I've seen, he still is, even though he doesn't even need to be anymore. As for Dak easily winning over the locker room, I think you're just guessing on that. I doubt very much that any of the players would've been upset if they'd given Romo his job back.Romo was never really in great shape as a QB. I don’t think he was viewed as a hard worker when he was in in Dallas. Was smart and had great ability but none of the determination and fire you saw and heard from a Brady or Manning. You ever wonder why Dak so easily won over that locker room?
sigh...This deal makes sense. Romo is a far better commentator than he was QB for the cowboys. Good for him.

Don’t you wish Tony had that quality more of a team player
Didn't know that was Buck's nickname.Congratulations Tony.......well deserved!
I know Aikman and his ego are PO'd
Not accurate.Romo was never really in great shape as a QB.
Rush would have been a better qb w/the line Aikman had. All Aikman had to do was stand there while Romo had to run for his life year in, year out.Why would aikman care. Aikman was a better QB than Romo and in the HOF
I think Bucks real name begins with a C instead of a B.Didn't know that was Buck's nickname.
but he sits with the hall of famer troy aikman, something he mentions several times a broadcast. in other news, bass are biting on topwater lures now.I think Bucks real name begins with a C instead of a B.
I know!!! And that wears me out no end.....makes me want to run an ice pick through my temple........and Troy soaks it up like sponge.but he sits with the hall of famer troy aikman, something he mentions several times a broadcast. in other news, bass are biting on topwater lures now.
