Yep, his regular season record is 500 but his playoff record is 8-4 with 2 SB wins over Tom Brady. That and his 2 SB MVPs along with that incredible play to Tyree will put him in the HOF.

Exactly when you have a dominant defense things get a hell of a lot easier. I believe the one game against SF in the playoffs their defense single handily kept them in the game and gave multiple opportunities for Eli to pull the game out.
It's arguable they should have been in a much worse position in the SF game when their offense gave up the ball but the ref, for some reason, blew the whistle early. I have it down as one of the worst playoff blunders that gets completely overlooked because of the special teams turnover shortly after.

I’m not to one who started the thread. Some can’t stop living in the past with him even though we won nothing with him. If my opinion of him bothers you put me on ignore.
Better not bet much because you will lose! He may not get in on the first ballot but he’ll get in because of those SB wins over Brady and being currently in the top 10 on the all-time passing list.
