If you want to know how I feel about T-Ro...look at my ID here. But let's move past the denial.

-Few quarterbacks are any good at all past 35. Tony will be 36 starting next season.
-Add in a seriously messed up back!?
-Repeat fractures?

I'd say the odds are 5-1 against Romo ever again looking like he did in his peak.
That's what makes last years playoff loss all the more painful.

That may have been Romo's one and only chance at a ring and it was a Murray fumble, poor coaching at the end of the half, and a blown call that ruined it.

One reason I favor Griffin and Manziel over Lynch and Goff... for all the talk about the zone-read option being a dead letter in the NFL, it looks like it's going to be four straight years that the NFC champion runs it.

Read a tweet from a doctor commenting on Romo's clavicle- said it really takes six months for it to be "as strong as the other one" after a fracture.

Really, after seven straight losses, Dallas should have shut down Romo. Now 2016 is in jeopardy if he doesn't heal properly......or ever.:banghead:
A little too late now but I completely agree.

He never should have been brought back this year. This is what happens when we have an ownership that just doesn't get it.

Romo NEVER should have been brought back this season. Especially given the fact that it was after an 0-7 stretch in where we were all but eliminated from that playoffs barring a complete miracle which NEVER happened.

I have nothing but respect for Romo for putting his body out on the field when he shouldn't have been out there to begin with.

1 more year. These injuries are staking up and not just pulled muscles or sprained ankles. The back cannot be completely healed and will always effect him. He's been a warrior and I admire him but don't he's on the last leg of his career. If he was playing in a manning or Brady offense, he might get another year of two but this offense hangs him out to dry and has taken his career much sooner than expected.

In all seriousness if Griffin hits the market to me he's worth a look.

Romo is so competitive he would have played as soon as the sling came off his shoulder if he was allowed to. I can't stand the fact that a guy like Romo that cares and competes so hard for this team is continually spat on by fate.

He deserves better.

Griffin had a stellar rookie year, got hurt, and the wheels came off. I'm still not sold on his leadership qualities, but his skill set makes him, like you said, worth a look.

Wonder how he'd react to playing behind Romo for a year or two before getting his chance??

Who say's it would take a year or two? The way Tonys been going down could be a game or two.

Doesn't look like it. My how they have fallen.

Body catcher and Free have been exposed. Smith regressed. Witten is aging, quickly.

Letting Murray go was the correct move, IMO, but the contingency plans didn't work out.

Romo gets hurt.

It was a terrible combination.
