As much as we are ready for the season to be over we can't expect the guys that actually practice and prepare for the games to be ready for the season to be over. So what, they are holding out hope. Big damn deal. Our organization wants to hang on to a shred of hope In a season which we were expecting to be contenders. The only thing that bothers me is that we have to go out and say it. I'd prefer we just take it a game at a time and see what happens.

That being said I'm not optimistic about our chances this year. But hell with it if we start winning games then fine I'll live with the victories hoping for more. If we continue to lose then fine at least we get a better draft slot.

There are so many hypocrites on this board it's sickening. Most of you that are crying about how bad Jerry has mismanaged the team were singing praises about the entire organization last year. You weren't the only ones. Did yall forget Jerry being named nfl GM of the year in 2014? It was a bad off season, but let's not act like most on here weren't very happy with the moves. Had we not been obliterated with injuries from the start we'd be looking through entirely different glasses now.

Make it forever.

When has a collarbone ever ended a career in any sport?

Well if you keep breaking it every 6 weeks, cant be good for it, and it might never heal strong enough to keep playing, as it would keep breaking.
It is totally ******** to think about playing romo in a playoff game at this point.
since they would need to win at least 4 of the next 5 for it to be possible, best thing would be to keep playing the qb who
won those games.
I doubt that it will happen though.

If I am running the team, I don't care.

But I think you are wrong.

And if Romo is campaigning, the organization needs to be smart enough to overlook that.

Players do not know what is good for them.

But you do?! LOL
The negativity on this board is sickening... can't wait for all the naysayers to eat a mountain of crow.

I can't believe I'll be rooting for the Deadskins on Monday to put an end to this false hope.

Just look at the flowers Jerry. Just look at the flowers....

This mentality is sickening... what are you guys thinking?
I can't believe the level of negativity... it is truly disgusting.

Enjoy you new team... the Cowboys are going to blow them out on Monday night.

There couldnt be a more embarrassing time to be a cowboy fan!!

Are you kidding? Campo and the 5-11 years was the worst... never-ending misery and low talent level during those years.
We have the talent to win now. We can turn this ship around.

The Cowboys really misplayed the Romo situation. First, they brought back Romo about 3 weeks too early, he wasn't fully healed , and they knew it at the time, exposing him to a potential career ending injury. Once the Cowboys fell behind in the Carolina game they should have pulled Romo, because you knew once we fell behind that the Panthers were going to pin their ears back and come after Romo and with Romo's health we weren't going to come back and win the game.

If I knew that before the injury happened, then why didn't the Cowboys see that happening?. Pulling Romo gets him another 10 days to heal before the next game, which would have had him close to fully healed.

The only way the Cowboys haven't misplayed this whole thing is if Romo faked the injury entirely in order to tank the season, and I don't think that is Garrett' style, or that we are that smart.

They didn't play him early. He sat out the expected wait time and clear his medical evaluations. This is the 3 rd time Romo had this kind of injury.

If Romo was healthy, I would agree with the "talent to win now". Without him, I don't see us beating the Commanders once, let alone twice.
I'll be watching the remaining games hoping they can pull it off, but, at this point I'm highly skeptical.

The team wouldn't make it to the superbowl even with romo playing. they have not been very good this season. I think last year was their chance and they blew it.

ALL the naysayers should commit to this... seeing all this negativity about our team is disgusting.
What the hell are these 'fans' doing here if they think the Cowboys have no chance?

Will be laughing my arse off when we beat the Skins and Green Bay, and are tied for 1st in 2 weeks. What are the naysayers going to B!tch about then?!

What makes you think all of a sudden we're going to start winning when we've only won 3 games all season?! Now if we had a healthy Romo in there I would agree but now we'll be lucky to win 2 of the next 5. Also you think we're going to roll into GB and win without a doubt? I know GB isn't as good this year but it still is going to be a hard place to play in December.
