I haven't thrown in the towel. I just think it's time to look further down the road. IF we had a capable back up maybe Romo isn't rushed back and has the chance to fully heal. Since they are proving they aren't capable of letting him heal, we just need to find that next QB. The are shortening Tony's NFL life span, like he hasn't earned his money.

The folks on radio have had some fun with it too. Jerry also said Romo can play another 5 years. The consensus is that comment is just a smokescreen. Romo likely has 2-3 years max. Jerry can't come out and say that we are drafting his replacement soon even though he might be thinking that.

Jerry has a short term goal to fill the stands. He will do that at all cost. I'm not exactly thrilled about him trotting an obviously injured Dez out there either, but he is basically the face of the franchise and puts people in the stands.

These players just need to heal up and this season just needs to end as fast as possible.

I haven't been on much in the last few days because there just isn't anything great to talk about. It's a sad season, we are probably better off becoming disconnected.

Meanwhile Cassel is thinking if we somehow get into the playoffs with me going 5-0 in the next 5 they're going to pull me for a guy that has only played in 4 games (2 full games) this season and was rusty in his last start?!
