First off, I think Tony should be done for the season. Just out of curiosity though, I haven't heard exactly what happened to Tony? Was his clavicle broken again or what? If so, does it need an operation this time? I really haven't seen a report with the extent of his injury.

On Talkin' Cowboys, they said he has a new hairline fracture to his clavicle (collarbone) and it will not require surgery.

Garrett did not say anything.

This was Stephen.

You know, the one that everyone pretends to think is sane?

Let's not act like the Garrett family isn't in Jerry's ear as well. Lacewell isn't the only culprit.

I'd get these guys out of Valley Ranch minimum, because Jerry is staying. He quoted Lacewell last year to the effect that Lacewell never has seen more unluck happen to a good thing, as if Dallas is just plagued my misfortune of luck. He was also defending Garrett that the records don't best fruit for what he puts in and has to offer.

Again, not Garrett.

He just works there.

Not true... He got Dan Reeves out and Callahan out. Jerry has Jim's mouth in his ear along with Lacewell. And I personally think the biggest supporter of Jason outside his father is Stephen.

When Wade first started, he was hanging out with Jerry at horse races.

The Cowboys really misplayed the Romo situation. First, they brought back Romo about 3 weeks too early, he wasn't fully healed , and they knew it at the time, exposing him to a potential career ending injury. Once the Cowboys fell behind in the Carolina game they should have pulled Romo, because you knew once we fell behind that the Panthers were going to pin their ears back and come after Romo and with Romo's health we weren't going to come back and win the game.

If I knew that before the injury happened, then why didn't the Cowboys see that happening?. Pulling Romo gets him another 10 days to heal before the next game, which would have had him close to fully healed.

The only way the Cowboys haven't misplayed this whole thing is if Romo faked the injury entirely in order to tank the season, and I don't think that is Garrett' style, or that we are that smart.

We are talking about a hairline fracture here so yes he could return but can't the season end already. Enough is Enough.

This is silly, Romo would not play any better in playoff game than he did in this panther game, which wasnt too good.
Better to stick with the bkup that got you there, and let Romo heal up proper, and free up a roster spot.

I wouldn't trust Lacewell in any consulting role, he is one of the reasons for this 20 year debacle.

In 1997, both him and Stephen Jones were essentially put in charge of personnel department without any experience in it. Jim Garrett as well, but at least he had five years in the scouting department.

The point being, all three of them are responsible for feeding Jerry nonsense... Jerry didn't do it alone.

Ironically, Garrett and Lacewell retired in 2004, when Parcells came in. After he left, these clowns were making decisions again apparently, which is probably why Parcells said to the effect you'll never know I was here..

When has a collarbone ever ended a career in any sport?

Who cares? This isn't that big of a deal. If SOMEHOW we manage to get in the Playoffs, I see nothing wrong with keeping the option of Romo playing ( at that point ) if it were to happen. If/When we lose the game or games necessary to be mathematically eliminated from contention, then you place him on IR & finish out the rest of the season & start working on your plans for next season.

There is no playoffs. I'll ban myself from 3 months of commenting if they make it (this should get many likes)
