He might lead a good team in the AFC to great things. Looked very sharp out there and I know he increased his value for perspective suitors.
Wish nothing but good things for him and he has a RoH spot waiting for him when he hangs 'em up for good.
Great regular season QB and an even better person.
Tony Romo gives the dallas cowboys the best chance to win a superbowl this year
There's a reason they took him out after one seriesWonder what he would look like taking punishing hits like Dak's taken.
Yep. He'll be on another team next year and we'll have to spend more on replacing him than we'll get from losing him. Fortunately, we're in good hands. But some team will get themselves an elite QB for 1-2 years and we won't get much in return.
So you believe that Romo thinks Dak is better, but Romo should play anyway? Because that's the only way your comment makes sense. Everyone should want the best players on the field if they think about the team first. If Romo believes he's the best quarterback on the team, then he'd naturally believe that him playing would be best for the team.I love Romo but it's obvious that he is working hard not to say that the Cowboys are wrong to play the rookie and he is bitter while keeping his mouth shut. I get it but I'm also feeling like the team isn't as important for Romo as his playing time is. I hate to say that because I'm definitely a guy who feels like he has given his body for this franchise and deserves our respect.

either way ,want is on FO's of other teams minds are the frequent back and collar bone injuries.I think people are also dismissing the fact that he's never taken the time to fully heal because he's as competitive as they come.
That's a great trait for a team guy.
He thinks that privately ,yesSo you believe that Romo thinks Dak is better, but Romo should play anyway? Because that's the only way your comment makes sense. splain how we'll spend more replacing a back up QB and the current back up is like20M or soYep. You mean like that measly nudge that took him out in preseason?
He's upset that Romo was able to go out and throw a TD. He didn't end up with a career ending injury.
Perhaps Romo realized that the team responded to Dak in ways that he hadn't seen since he first became the Cowboys' young savior. Sometimes, it's best to take a back seat if you really want what's best for the players and the team as a whole. I think that's probably why he acted as he did.

I think the 'team responded' stuff is hugely overblown. Did the team not respond in 2014? The team responds when it has good players. Just yesterday the team responded to Romo and seemingly didn't respond to Sanchez. Why? Because Sanchez sucks. When Weeden is handing off to Randle the team looks like it's not responding, but the fact is those players just aren't good enough to make everyone else's efforts pay off. If Romo had thought the team had some magic in Dak he wouldn't have asked for the opportunity to win the job back. He asked for that opportunity because he was confident he would win it back, because he believes he's better. I, and quite few other people, think he's right. He had his press conference after they denied him the opportunity to compete, that was for the team. But it doesn't mean he thinks Dak is better, it just means he didn't want to divide the team with controversy after the coaches had decided they wanted to keep playing the 'hot hand.'
I don't like the idea. DEMARCUS WARE is a Cowboy, forever!I don't like the idea. ROMO as a Cowboy, forever!
In my opinion, there's a legitimate possibility that the franchise will be labeled moronic if that's the circumstance. Romo's gone. The team's projected compensation for his departure has been debated at length by fans and media alike, with a very diverse range of conclusions. Will say it again
This franchise would be moronic to let Romo walk without top compensation
He makes Denver or Houston or Miami instant SB contenders
I assume he meant exactly what he said, which is that he practices like he plays. It's also true that he said this in the context of playing behind a player who doesn't, according to his GM.Romo is talking about himself - just saying because his practices went well that he, himself, expected to play well on game day. Sometimes people actually say what they mean and mean what they say.
