In October of 1998 Little killed a St. Louis woman while driving drunk. Little ran a red light and collided with a smaller vehicle driven by Susan Gutweiler. Gutweiler, who was 47 at the time of the accident, left behind a husband and a teenage son. Little pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and was sentenced to 90 nights in jail, 1,000 hours of community service, and four years probation

he should be on everybody's list as the unstated obvious choice. Like.... "who are your top 5 most hated players... not including Leonard Little"

"Instead of trying to make a difference, Little said little after his first incident outside of the classic ‘the ***** ran a yellow light and ruined my $45,000 car.’"

Little also had another DUI a few years after this 1998 incident.

I can't say I actually hate any player, ... but I have always thought McNabb is a complete phony, a baby, a momma's boy prima dona who has always been told he is great and he expects to be treated differently because of it.

He is so fake, and the media eats it all up.

He also is not as good as they want us to believe he is.

Others like Shockey, Moss, Plax, Merriman, etc. are out there, but the media does call them on it.

McNabb always seems to get a pass.

1) Peyton Manning. I can't stand him. He has been celebrated because of his name since his first start at UT. Yet he could never win the big game. Still in the pros, he can't win the big game. He gets hype hype hype and granted he's a great player but can't win it. Plus, he's such a dork. Every commercial break I have to see him. And his pre-snap antics drive me insane. Then when he loses, he takes subtle jabs at the opponents while trying to appear that he's complimenting them...and/or he throws teammates under the bus. What a jerk.
2) Everything Washington Commanders. The entire franchise, esp Dan Snyder. What a little punk. Crybaby Gibbs, Dennis Rodman/Clinton Portis.
3) Jeremy Shockey; single celled brain coupled to megaphone mouth
4) Plax: ditto
5) Eli; see #1
6) Ray Lewis; should be in jail, accessory to murder, aiding and abetting known felons, go to jail jerk
7) Jamaal Lewis; ditto
8) Mike Vick: Ron Mexico is so overrated and makes the PB its sad
9) Deangelo Hall: ditto
10) Donovan Mcnabb and Philthy fans; mcchunky
11) Tiki Barber: always seems to gouge us and his smile is so irritating and fake, turns out he's a punk too
12) Shaun Alexander: he's soft and overrated
13) Randy Moss/TO; I tolerate TO because he helps us
14) The Houston Texans; Texas is only big enough for one team and their "America's Team" envy is obvious and pathetic. They continue to dilute the league's talent and waste top 5 draft picks every year. They should disband as a franchise.
15) Brett Favre, wouldn't mind him a bit if announcers didn't have such a man-crush on him
16) The Denver Broncos; used to love Elway but then Terrell Davis and Shannon Sharpe went there with Shanahan and a host of annoying characters.
17) Shannon Sharpe, Joe Theiswoman, Steve Young, Michael Irvin....idiots with microphones and egos as big as a house.
18) Al Michaels; what a jerk

Johnson made race an issue. Only the weak can't have a discussion about it.

Don't hate anybody...players I dislike

Peyton Manning - The Tim Duncan of the NFL less the Championships. A whiner and a complainer. How many times have you seen him throw a pass incomplete, look toward the referees and do his "push off" routine and then a late flag is thrown in. I feared it would happen at least 3 times vs the Cowboys but it rarely manifested. He puts up great numbers but like A-Rod, doesn't come through when it counts. The Tennessee Vols won a championship the year after he left.

Sean Taylor - The epitome of the "Me" player. He gets into shootouts on his off time, reduced his Hall of Fame Coach to sending him Voice Mails because he wouldnt return his phone calls and spits in player's face.

Honorable Mention
Terrell Owens
Joey Porter
Plaxico Burress
Tiki Barber

What's wrong with Terrell Davis?

But your list is funny though. I give it

I'm like that about Brett Favre as well. The game Monday night was a prime example. They couldn't stop talking about him. It was ridiculous. Everything was about Brett.

i don't think there is a black athlete in the league that wouldn't want to play for a black coach. To turn that into a negative is absurd to me.

This is an absurd quote. Personally, I think anyone that brings color into this type of equation is shallow and narrow minded. Obviously, you feel this way and fit perfectly into that group.

Off the field, I don't have a problem with the guy.

It's on the field with his horse-collar tackling, being the reason that I dislike him. I mean he is the reason the rule against it was put in place.

DUMB. Horse collars were happening in the league. It's just that he did it against TO and TO broke a bone. Mind you, when he did it is WAS a legal tackle. Nothing illegal about it. Get it? It was a FAIR tackle.

#1shockey-his tantrums and his mouth. #2steve smith-he is so cocky and acts like an a-hole. #3 shaun alexander-the most overrated runningback in the league

The horse-collar tackle showed up before Roy, yes.

I wasn't even talking about that. I was only stating why I don't like the guy on the field and I backed it up with the article.

It seems like he doesn't have a problem doing it again, even after players get injured.

Really, that comment just makes me want to laugh. So, I guess after the first injury (wasn't it to Calico in the pre-season?) if a WR got past him Roy was just supposed to pull up and let them go? At the speed of the NFL game I highly doubt he had the time to think about the best tackling technique to prevent injury. The only thought that probably went through his brain was to prevent the TD. Is it unfortunate and freakishly weird that four people got injured by Roy on that particular type of tackle? Yes. But to imply that Roy didn't feel bad about it or worse, that he did it on purpose is crazy.

Sports 'hate' is wonderfully pure, harmless, and cathartic, which is why screaming 'kill the umpire!" is a timed honored American tradition. My best sports hate goes to coaches, owners, and other front office types like Snyder, Belichick, Kraft, Shanahan, Reid, etc.

Top player hates are the shameless self-promoters, with Tiki a run-away winner, Manning who never won squat but has endless commericals in second place, and Owens fading into a distant third.
