There will never be 100% agreement but one thing I do enjoy on this forum are the times when others opinions mirror mine like these:
1- Darth Vader- STAR WARS
5- Freddy Krueger- NIGHTMARE IN ELM STRET
6- Hannibal LECTOR- SILENCE OF THE LAMBS
7- Hans GRUBER- DIE HARD
11- Mike MYERS- HALLOWEEN
15- Alien- Alien
18-Kevin Spacey- SEVEN
22- The Joker- HEATH LEDGER
23- Jack Nicholson - THE SHINING
25-Predator- PREDATOR
2 the joker(heath ledger) in the dark knight
3 darth vader
6 ming in flash gordon
21 commodus in the gladiator
1) Darth Vader, Star Wars 32
2) Joker (Heath Ledger), The Dark Knight 31
3) Hannibal Lecter, The Silence of the Lambs 30
5) Voldemort, Harry Potter 28
7) Terminator, The Terminator 26
9) Michael Myers, Halloween 24
10) Xenomorph, Alien 23
11) Thanos, Avengers 22
12) Jack Torrance, The Shining 21
14) Palpatine, Star Wars 19
17) T-1000, T-2 16
19) Nurse Ratched, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest 14
20) Freddy Krueger, The Nightmare on Elm Street 13
24) Hans Landa, Inglorious Basterds 9
26) The Wicked Witch of the West, The Wizard of Oz 7
27) Hans Gruber, Die Hard 6
28) Commodus, Gladiator 5
32) Michael Corleone, The Godfather 1
1) Thanos
3) Joker (Ledger)
4) Hannibal Lecter (Hopkins)
5) Hans Gruber
6) Emperor Palpatine
21) Nurse Ratched
27) The Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger)
30) The Wicked Witch of the West

There were a few more that I did debate at one time or another before dropping them from my list:

24- It Clown - It the remake version
I kinda envy you and @Runwildboys sticking with Pennywise.
27 general zod in man of steel
Michael Shannon did a hell of a job in my eyes. He JUST missed the cut for my list.
16) Keyser Soze, The Usual Suspects 17
Agreed. I was thinking of not splitting any possible votes for Kevin Spacey, so I did not include Soze.
7) Colonel Quaritch - Avatar
17) Pennywise
25) The Borg Queen - Star Trek: First Contact
31) Morgan le Fay - Excalibur
I completely forgot Quantch and Le Fay (nice seeing another fan of Excalibur). The Borg Queen was one of the first casualties of my list. Stephen King creates characters (Pennywise) who not only last but transfer well from television to the big screen.

Great actor (De Niro) and part but an even better movie I KNEW Sean Connery won Best Supporting Actor for that movie the first time I saw it.
agreed.
if they bring a knife.
you bring a gun.
if they send one of yours to the hospital...send one of theirs to the morgue.

that line alone won it for him.
he stold that whole movie.

One of the best death scenes anyone will see in a film. Brian De Palma had a unique style of directing. I have always liked a lot of his work.
