Trade Austin?....

Yeah, they said Jerry was trollin' too when he traded Hershel Walker, zrin you would not know brilliance if it walked up and slapped you on the face. Well, I am he. <slap>

So now you are comparing Austin to Hershel Walker? Even though you said a few posts ago that he sucks.

You make a lot of sense little troll.

Witten and Austin play different positions.... that's like apples to oranges. They face different defenders and different coverages. If anything Roy has single coverage and Austin has double and still has better numbers. And as far as Roy Williams is concerned, we've all seen Romo hit him between the numbers in the hands and he's dropped them (don't need a stat for that, just game film).

Im sorry, what do you call someone who catches a ball or receives a gift?

A RECEIVER!

Austin has it easy all he does is tippy toe down the field, not only does Jason Whitten have to block, he also normally is up against Linebackers who carry much more pop than the noodly corner backs Austin is against, and WItten STILL has better stats. Thanks again for using your stats to prove my point.

And as far as Roy is concerned have you ever noticed that whenever there is a blue moon and Romo hits Roy on the numbers the ball is rifled? Nobody could catch that. Roy is lucky Romo has not cracked his sternum...which btw, it would not surprise me if that is what Romo is going for.

The Butt Hurt is extra strong in this one tonight.

Honestly if it was that I would consider it as well cause that would result in us having 3 1st rounders in 2010 and 2 1st rounders in 2011 (making him worth more than Cutler). The flaw is that SF has Crabtree already so they have no need for a WR.

But this blows a hole in the reason stated that we would be trading Austin in the first place. The radio guy said that Jerry couldnt pay Austin $10 mill a year due to the fact we are already paying Roy that much.

However, 3 first round picks (2 relatively high) are going to cost more than $10 mill a year to sign. So letting Austin walk in order to get multiple first rounders is totally dumb if the motive is to reduce payroll because those 3 first rounders are going to be paid more collectively than Austin would make by himself.

See my point guys???

Get out of here with that weak sauce. Jerry is a gazillioniare, he sleeps on a matress stuffed with more than ten mill. Money is not an issue, its all talent here.

Lol you crack me up.... I'm talking about WRs, Jason Witten is IMO our number 1 receiver, but Austin is our #1 WR. Roy Williams is our #3 WR and our #4 receiver. And I don't understand the whole cracked sternum thing.... and ball rifled in there, doesn't matter you still supposed to catch a ball that hits you in the gut and also hits your two gorilla sized mitts in the palms.

The Herschel Walker trade worked and made sense at the time because that team sucked. He was used to build a team. This team is already built, getting rid of an integral part would be detrimental, even if we get a lot in return.

I guess if you call a Wooden house full of termites, built on a fault line, and in the path of an F5 tornado built, I agree.

he threw out that we could replace Austin with Jordan Shipley from the 3rd round

I stopped reading when I got to this part, replace Miles Austin with Jordan Shipley.

Guy must be a UT homer or is high as a kite.

If I call it a wooden house...what? that sentence needs another clause haha

That was actually a planned dropped. It set up a felix TD run.
Lol I believe it, Roy Williams sucked this entire season so he could set himself up to look like a HoF WR next season when he finally breaks 1000 yards for the second time in his 7 season career as a STARTING WR in the NFL.... PeeWee league WRs catch more passes than him:lmao:

If we can get 2 first rounders for Austin i'm all for it. Also i believe if Austin got franchised he'd cost more than 10 mill.

You would trade a 6'3'', 215 lb probowl WR that is only 25 yrs old for 2 first rounders???

Wow, just wow.

You guys lining up wanting to trade Austin for a pair of 1st, answer me this.....Roy "hands of stone" Williams going to be your number 1 next yr???

We would be dam lucky just to reach .500:rolleyes:

I have yet to see Austin throw blocks like Roy, say what you want about Roy but he is a team player. Even AFTER Romo acts like a baby and scowls at him after every single play trying to make it seem as if its Roy's fault. All Austin does is run down the field fast, he does not throw blocks he does not fight to get open, if he gets open he is open if not, well maybe he will next play.

Roy>> Austin.

You're right.

Those are the main reasons why Roy is playing in the Pro Bowl.

:lmao:

I'm not gonna chose either way on this, because it's too early. But it wasn't more than a year or 2 ago most people wouldn't have traded Barber, yes Barber, for a first rounder.
