Trade Discussion rumors: Earl Thomas to Cowboys

We might wake up tomorrow to the news that Seattle is settling for a 4th. No reason to agree to anything until tomorrow.

We might wake up tomorrow next to a really hot chick wishing we could remember the night more clearly. A lot of things could happen. It only matters what did happen.

Thomas is less likely to bust, but would cost us a lot more money.

Yup and throw in the first round pick and its obvious which way is better. I still think they take a 3.

At this point now that they have advertised him and put him through the dog and pony show I'm really not sure they can even front about keeping him anymore.

But with James, you get a player for 7-10 years.

How many years does ET have left? 2? 3? 4?

think about this.

If the team were to give up what it would take to get james they would have to give up 19, 50 and probably two more picks.

all to get a safety when a few years ago they could have traded BACK and taken Landon Collins who to me looks like a better player than james and we all know is a better player than byron jones.

This braintrust has not earned the right to make a trade like this for a defensive player.

It's a buyer's market. We need to offer no more than the compensatory pick or wait it out.

Let's see just how dumb this Front office is next year you get Him for free. Pick wise that is. And the contract will be less with with another year added

Can you tell Reality that because I'm in a contract year. Thanks in advance.

Hey Sarge, going along the lines of this thread topic, I heard a rumor that you've been traded to BleedingGreenNation for 2 renowned Eagles posters and a hot dog.

Sorry dude.

Hard to argue with that logic.

James vs 19 pick + ET + fat contract is a valid discussion.

I was just pointing out that "trading 50 for James instead of ET" is a false comparison.

Jesus.

I'm putting on my safety goggles.

I read the first page, skipped the intervening ones, and read the last only to discover that we're still on "ban this poster if no evidence." That's a lot of bloodthirsty peasants with rusty implements clamoring outside the castle.

If the Cowboys give up a second rounder for ET they haven't learned a thing.
