Trade Ferguson (no show in the red zone)

As far as evaluations go I'm less inclined to harshly judge the TE position given what's going on with the OL and QB. Ferguson was looking fine earlier in the season. I don't want dumb and dumber wasting any more picks on TE, the DL and the OL should be all they're thinking about until it's freaking fixed.

Spann Ford is an example he was playing better than either of these stiffs but because they are draft picks they get the start and of course they dont do anything.

John Stephens is a better TE of course he got hurt but there are numerous undrafted or street free agents that can play better or just as good.
Pretty much any metric would disagree. Spann ford ran over 100 routes this year and only averaged .74 yards per route run which is 72nd in the league. Both Ferg and Schoon nearly doubled his production in that category.

Spann ford was a serviceable 3rd TE who get glamorized by some but is yet to actually show that he could be a regular starter.

No one showed up in the red zone today. Lance was a big part of the problem.
how bout calling very low percentage passes? not running it in when you moved it down field on the ground? not using Lance's legs?

They used his legs he ran 6 times. Low percentage passes lead to turnovers with him. He’s not good!

Wow, they ran a guy who is young & fast 6 times. How many of those were called runs?

How many times did they do a designed run in the redzone? (since you were talking about redzone)

Point being, they did nothing to help him or the team succeed in the redzone.

He didn't turn it over. The plays they were giving him in the redzone were such low % plays that the best QB's in the league would struggle to connect on them.

He’s a below average QB. Had the Cowboys started Rush they would have won the game

Coaching and scheme/prep have been a huge issue for several years....dont know why. i watched other teams look lije real nfl teams with their #2s today. Maddening.

I'm only discussing where you said their failures in the redzone were largely on him.

Ferguson is a bust. no TD's this year, how many penalties did he have? How many times tackled for no gain on screens?

He's terrible, time to get a good TE to help in the red zone
Another very overrated Jag of ours...............we have grown used to this phenomenal.

Maybe, just maybe, Ferg would be better in a better scheme and a better QB. TE's have two routes in Fat Mike's offense. Ferg would be great playing with the Chefs

He completely sucked today and was a mental midget throughout the game!
