Trade Ferguson (no show in the red zone)

Maybe, just maybe, Ferg would be better in a better scheme and a better QB. TE's have two routes in Fat Mike's offense. Ferg would be great playing with the Chefs
Should have kept Hendersot and Schultz they are much better than Joke Ferguson

I'm not as down on Ferg as some, but was certainly expecting more after last year. He did have a number of injuries, lost his QB, and played in an out of sync offense so willing to give him a mulligan. I believe he's better than what we saw this year, but It's plausible he may not ascend more than Schultz.

Ferguson is a bust. no TD's this year, how many penalties did he have? How many times tackled for no gain on screens?

He's terrible, time to get a good TE to help in the red zone
Another one of those fans!! Lmao YES LETS TRADE ANY AND EVERYBODY THATS EVEN SOMEWHAT GOOD! Let's make more holes please!!!!

He was hurt all year starting in game one. He’s a serviceable TE, but that’s it. Serious lack of studs on the offense.

You are correct. Let’s do what we usually do, trade players so they become stars elsewhere. He does suck here

87s mental focus seems to have disappeared this season.

If the refs weren't so obsessed with ankles, Ferg would've been credited with a GREAT touchdown catch that would've won the game (in my opinion, he controlled it to the ground) and resulted in a better perception of his performance. That being said, he never fully recovered from the concussion and missed Dak as his QB. They have chemistry.

Wow, they ran a guy who is young & fast 6 times. How many of those were called runs?

How many times did they do a designed run in the redzone? (since you were talking about redzone)

Point being, they did nothing to help him or the team succeed in the redzone.

He didn't turn it over. The plays they were giving him in the redzone were such low % plays that the best QB's in the league would struggle to connect on them.
How many X's did Dallas use the QB option on the goalline for walk in TD's w/Dak in the past.

I mean Lance can do that. They did nothing play calling wise to do so. Not even the sneak @ the 1 yard line.

Horrible RZ coaching.

Has Mike Pereira EVER given a Dallas score the benefit of perspective? That was a TD.

He's a bust, get someone that can catch the ball and not make a penalty!
And if that person starts you are still paying your backup more than what you save cutting Ferg and Ferg is almost certainly better than whatever backup you get to replace him.

I don't he had a great year. but can you point me to any cowboys offensive player that had a great year?
CD
and then there is nobody.

this was a whole offense sucked issue. Ferguson is not a top 5 TE, but he is good. he played well last two years.
now he is in the last year of his contract. according to you he sucks. so what do you expect to get for a TE, in the last year of his contract who sucks?

some people around here are just incredible...just blurt out anything that comes to mind without thinking through.

He was always overrated. People just thought he was good because he liked to hurdle over defenders

In his favor is the fact that he does have a warrior mentality and will work like a dog to improve his game this offseason

Wait. He was a stud a few months ago.
i've always been a fan of his, and probably hyped him up more than he deserved. i didn't realize just how poorly he'd played this year until this thread. unfortunate.
