That is not projecting, that is fantasizing. Not even in your wildest hallucinations, would that ever happen. First of all, Dak will get no offers from any team UNTIL he can pass a physical. Ask yourself when can he realistically pass a full physical where he can run, cut, and throw. It is definitely not going to be before FA begins in about a month. That is for sure. It is most likely not before the draft. According to 'sources (have no idea who they are), 'Dak just had surgery on the deltoid ligament of his dislocated ankle in early Dec. Read up on ankle deltoid surgery. Maybe Dak will be able to pass a physical before camp. That is a big maybe. Who knows. Dak might even be on PUP for the first 6 weeks. Teams will have finalized their rosters by the time Dak will be healthy. Teams will have drafted QBs and signed FA QBs.

Teams are not going to offer an injured Dak a $35-40M/year, $110M guaranteed, 5-year contract. Not happening. The only team that will offer Dak anything in the next 8 months is the Cowboys. Jerry may offer Dak a huge contract out of loyalty. Sometimes Jerry is loyal to a fault.

By the way, Dak was not 1-3 (actually 0-4 if not for a watermelon squib kick) to start the season with weapons like Cooper, Lamb, Gallup, and Zeke. Two of the games were against the worst defensive teams in the league (Seattle and Atlanta).
clear vision right here

You talked about getting a guy who would never want to be here.
Do you understand the concept of talent acquisition?
Don’t be naive . Players will play for any franchise that respects them and Brady said how. I have he respects the organization many times . If you google it , many experts saw Brady to dallas as a great idea .
But I agree the cowboys don’t have that type of vision to pull it off . But would it have been better results wise ? heck yes .

Lol.
Well yeah!

He wasn't coming here and you should know it and stop with the fantasy posting about it.

Talk about someone being naive...

For all the Dak haters out there, there are very, very few ways in which this organization can get rid of Dak and still get better. Everybody wants to get rid of Dak, but nobody has a clue on what to do after getting rid of him. Getting Wilson is one of those very few ways to improve this team. It's a pipe dream, but just about every way to get better without Dak is a pipe dream.
K here is a case where people just make up some bullsht and expect people to buy it because they think they are so much smarter than everyone else

They change the narrative and argue it to suit their own agenda.

Almost EVERYONE...who wants to get rid of dak...are asking for a better defense and o-line.

There isn't ANYONE EVER getting rid of dak without asking for improving the defense. But THIS guy thinks no on has any other plan. STUPID buillsht, jeeze!

Improve the defense. and O-line....is what people want. Some think we can pay dak and some don't thin we can. But stop making up stupid bullshti about it,

Dont get the "trade Dak plus ????" trades people keep advocating. Dak is a FA next month - you cant trade a player you dont have the rights to.

If Dak is tagged, we'll end up footing the bill - nobody is taking on Dak + 37m.

Any trade for Wilson or any other QB will be picks.
There are realities beyond our control....true.

But finding a cheaper alternative while we invest in trenches isn't a stupid venture. Brady won another title by defense and solid o-line. Proven over and over again.

agree but dak for wilson and our 10th id do that maybe they both are happier making the move, at least Wilson a warrior never missed start has he?and dak just had major injury, and which has been to two sbs and has ring?

i think that worth our 10th pick and dak..its tough decision but sometimes those are necessary..

I’d do that deal. Trouble is trading a tagged Dak can be dicey.

Too bad you aren't smart enough to know that Brady had the 4th highest cap hip of all qbs in the nfl..may want to educate yourself before you embarrass yourself...too late now

Tis true.

Dak has a defacto No Trade Clause in that he can just not agree to any contract beyond the Tag with any team that wants him unless it's a place he wants to go to.

We, as fans, like to ignore such complications.

Russell and a 1st is reasonable. Russell and two firsts is insanity. Realistically though, how much better will Russ make this team? Will he score 50 points a game?
I think what he has shown is the ability to rise to the occasion in huge games. Not saying that Dak doesn’t play well at the end of games but Wilson has had several “signature moments” in critical situations

Nobody hates Dak.
He isn't worth $42,000,000.00+
.
Stop feeling sorry for Dak. He'll be fine. He has more money than he know what to do with already.

No.

With this owner and general manager, we need to assemble a 70s Steelers-like team if we expect to win the Super Bowl again.

No ONE player is going to right this ship unless he's of John Elway status and legend.

We need to keep our picks and build through the draft.
Elway couldn't do it until he had a dominant D and running game. So, no, not even him.
