So what happens to the Dak haters if Dak moves on and Wilson comes here and fails, as where Dak wins a SB with another team?
Will they now become a Wilson hater and say trade him for Dak?
:lmao2:

But what happens, if Wilson wins us a SB and Dak doesn't get past a divisional game....works both ways to be fair...oh, the endless I told you so threads. :muttley:
wait til its time to renew Wilson's deal.
they ain't gonna like that number anymore than what Dak's is believed to be.

how is washington going to get Russell without breaking up the DLine?

The Seahawks would have a field day trading him to them

Young, Payne and 2 first rounders

When Brady decided it was time to leave New England, he did his homework on where he wanted to go to continue his playing career.
Dallas was never on his radar --generally because of the Cowboys change (new coaching staff), then specifically because of the situation with Prescott.

And Brady knows the value of a good defense, which Jerry and Stephen Jones seems incapable of grasping.

his contract is about $40M a year.....and everyone complains about $40M contract....not sure what you said makes sense!
From what I have read he just signed a 5 year extension that pays him 32 million for 2021, 37 for 2022, 42 or 44 for 2023, and 39 for 2024. The cap should go after this year. I am not sure exactly if it was these numbers but it was a very friendly contract for the Cowboys the first two years.

Can’t win with a QB getting paid. We should be able to fill the QB position with any JAG because of all our weapons and go buy a defense with the savings. Read it here.

As I said, nobody is taking Dak + 37m. We tag him, we're stuck with the 37m cost. As I said on another thread, if Dak is tagged I can see him starting the season on IR (by his choice) collecting paychecks for nothing, and becoming a FA again in 2022.

You should probably stop saying it.

I agree. The Cowboys - and Stephen Jones specifically - have handled things poorly.

And failure to keep options open is another issue.

Fear not. These guys have everything under control. I don't know about you but this photo fills me with confidence for the Cowboys future.

Throw in Dak and a couple of 1sts, so that our division leaders WFT dont get him. Something like the Rams did for Stafford so that 49ers dont get him.

Other option is get Brady on our team so that he doesnt distance himself from other teams in super bowl count. Since our ceiling would be NFC CG.

Wilson is one of my favorite QB, he is better than Mahomes for sure.
I wouldn't mind seeing Dak in Seattle at all!

I see, so you are the judge of what a good idea is? I believe I've discovered the problem.

OK cool. So when I said I haven't seen a good idea, originally, you thought I meant by somebody else's standards..boy, you sure get it. Good job.

First of all, that is not what you said. This is what you said:

Everybody wants to get rid of Dak, but nobody has a clue on what to do after getting rid of him.

You never said anything about any good ideas, at all.

So yes, I do get it because I can read. You, apparently are not only really bad at that, you don't have the good sense or manors to understand when you are wrong and simply clarify, as opposed to just act like a jackwagon. So yeah, your opinion here, less then nothing to me. Scoot along now.

Unfortunately at this point there are no good options for the Cowboys.

Paying Dak $40 million/year will hurt the team.

Letting Dak walk will hurt the team.

That’s the consequence of Jerry not signing Dak immediately after the 2018 season.
