doom, some people are so blinded by tunnell vision they're hardly a fan of the team in as much as just a loud mouth craving attention. given the reality around the situation of having to groom a young qb and nothing being certain w/either young or older vets, it seems BB just likes to pop off his top and sound like he's "all that" and in the end, he just sounds "all that lost" and like he pushes a player, not a team, regardless of the circumstances.
romo has done a lot of good things to earn his shot at staying on as QB and as always, that just upsets some people who had a different "favorite player" in mind. after awhile that hole just gets too deep to either crawl out of it or for credibility to fall back into it.
there you have BB.[/quote]
Good to know the situation. I've read several of his posts and just assumed he was a troll and never responded.
No, Q_the_man is not a troll. He is a good poster and has been on this board and older ones for a while. He is also no Kartr, whose every single posts revolves around Quincy Carter. He usually brings some good opinions to the board. I don't agree with this particular post of his. I don't see the benefit of trading Romo even if they were able to get a #1 pick. I truly doubt he would garner a first round pick. If he is that valuable, then he is worth keeping.
Dallas needs stability at the QB position. They may go ahead and try to draft a QB and that won't bother me at all. Romo has proven he can do some good things. If he hasn't proven that he is the man, he has at least proven that he can hold the position until they devolop some young talent. I like him much better than Bledsoe or any other reject veteran that will be available in the off season. Depending on how he performs the next two weeks, he may have show that he will be the long term solution for Dallas.
