If Dak would agree to a team friendly deal, he would get an extension. Dak wants all the money. Can’t blame him.

What does his comment about Prescott have to do with his time as a Cowboy?

It feels petty and inconsequential.
There is no connection, but he is an Eagles troll who gets his kicks out of knocking on Cowboys players.

Troy also said Romo was a better QB than he ever was.

His opinion is irrelevant honestly. QB fraternity. Nothing more
Aikman never had to carry the Cowboys offense during his championship years. When he did have to carry the offense early in his career and late in his career and his defenses weren’t very good, he wasn’t very good and it led to losing seasons. A lot of people doubted him early on when the Cowboys were losing. Fans booed and wanted him benched for Randall Cunningham later in his career when the team was struggling.

Yup. "Winning at the HIGHEST level".....is he serious?

Aikman won at the highest level so how does a qb with a 2-5 playoff record resemble that remark

Troy has to be trolling at this point.....pretty cruel
He never said winning. He said play.

So Troy is still accurate. Many QBs can play at a high level, including backups.

Well, today Aikman, tomorrow Staubach.

Watch out Bob Lilly. The self-loathing Cowboy “fans” will be coming for you soon enough.

Dumbest overreaction thread ever. Aikman predicts a new contract for Dak. So do most people. He says Dak can play at the highest level and he has. He just can’t when it matters most but he’s put up elite stats. Allman agrees with that too.

Good for the emoji brigade I guess.

Jerrys plan is to delay the extending of Dak to let all the good free agents get signed first by other teams.....then go "All in" with whats left...that way he can say he went "all in" and then talk about how he signed great free agents...etc...rinse and repeat....

IMO they will restructure him before the start of the new year.
This will free up cap space and give the FO more time to drag on about his long term future here.

Cowboys may want to decide what they want to do quickly. If Cousins, five years older the Dak, coming off an Achilles injury, and no more successful than Dak in the playoffs, signs for north of $50 million per year, France will ask for significantly more. Because if that’s what Cousins can get in free agency, Dak would get much more.
He should do that then. Godspeed.

Only from a really bad, muggy, desperate team with no chance of any success. If Prescott wants to sign for a team like that then it says a lot about him as an individual and he should fill his boots. A good team, a genuine contender would not touch him especially for the money he allegedly desires.
