I put my chips on Booger going after Kellen Moore. Too many reasons not too.

Booger likes him.
Booger loved the big play offense he brought.
The QB is comfortable with him and his playbook. And he put up some of the best numbers of his career with Moore calling plays.

Everybody wins....

One thing I forgot to mention:

If it was a given that BigMac is gone after this year and Dan Quinn was the next head coach of the Cowboys, what are the odds he would have bolted when the Commanders called?

What would you do if you knew you would be the head coach with a defense you built from ground zero? And all you had to do is stay with your defense for one more year?

Klint Kubiak.

I’ve had a large enough sample size of the Prescott/McCarthy combo to know it’s never going to work. McCarthy’s WCO is outdated and not a good fit for Prescott, and we’re committed to Dak for the next 3-4 years whether we like it or not. Is Dak a part of the problem? Absolutely, but he’s going to be here.

We need a young, innovative offensive mind from the Shanahan tree to come in and run this offense. The running scheme needs to be completely rewired and the coach needs to get the best out of Prescott.
As long as Jerry is running this team, the head coach doesn't matter.

How did dak go from MVP candidate coming off maybe the best season of his career to not a fit for McCarthys scheme all in 1 game

The offense didn’t overwhelm the Browns either and scored in garbage time against GB . Now if the opponents are the Giants or Commanders then yes people are jumping into kettles pulling turkey legs out throwing a 5 spot into the red kettle …..

Agreed, but is this a scheme issue or a player issue? GB we threw 2 early INTs and the game was basically garbage time right away. Schemes dont matter if you dont have the players to execute.

To be honest other then RB I think the other positions are covered with enough talent to win .

I think the word is out that if you come here, Jerry will ruin your career.

That is why we are only gonna get has beens or never was's
The unfortunate truth. I wish it was different. I hope it’s different. But we’d probably see him elevate zimmer to coach before he brings in somebody like Kubiak.

I would not mind at all bringing in Klimt Kubiak as next HC/OC to freshen up the team and the offense in particular. Better than the old tired approach from these retreads Jerry hires. More movement, creativity and diversity in the offensive formations. Of course, he needs to bring a solid young defensive coordinator as well. Team needs to develop an identity.

I know you meant to say Zimmer. He's been the HC in waiting ever since he signed as DC.

Simple, if its your career and you want it in your hands, you stay out of Dallas. If you want to be a winner, you get out of Dallas. Do not come to Dallas if those are your goals. JJ has made it known, hes not looking to win the SB and he wants complete control of his money, err team. So the question, money or a long career that you decide on.
