Agree.....Being a former BSU Alum I never got this move why they moved him there (to the 3 Tech) to begin with. First Crawford was over drafted.....Next... over paid.....And now people are shocked that he isn't producing @ a position he never played in college. Only in Dallas will this absurdity continue to flurish. Should have left him @ LDE. Won't be shocked to see him get moved backed there....and he platoons w/ Lawrence. Except....Cowboys will find a way to screw that up as well. Probably continue to start Lawrence on 1st down.....then bring in Crawford on obvious passing downs.

While the argument can be made that the defensive line only has one legit threat, Crawford, and the offensive line can double him, he hasn't made much of an impact. Kind of expect more out of a newly re-signed guy.

Hope to see him more active once we get Hardy and Gregory

I have seen him play well in games in the past and give OGs fits. I can not see him as a bust yet. Perhaps he is hurt? IF he flops, Rod's reputation as a talent evaulator takes a hit.

He appears to be in the backfield quite a bit but unable to finish the play. The QB is usually able to sidestep his pressure and there's no one else around to make the play on the QB. When Hardy and Gregory return, the hope is this will all change. Each player will help the other finish plays.

I would say this had some merit if you were using it to prove the production of a 1 technique. As the OP said, this defense is designed to make him flourish. 6 hurries doesn't really do a lot for me.

So, are we going to accept the PFF rankings as gospel, or cherry pick things from that website that are positive about the Cowboys?
Swear I see bashing of their rankings as hacks more times than not on this site. Mostly, when they have a Cowboy player graded negatively

Right now Crawford is our biggest weapon on the line and he is being doubled. Nobody else is consistently beating their man to help him out. With hardy back now, I bet his production skyrockets

It was good enough to be the most productive DT in pass rushing situations last week in the entire NFL. I understand its not world breaking stuff. But the guy is a still a good player. He will be productive. He is being productive now its just hard to see at times. I just can't wait for #Kraken AND Crawford.
