your kidding right? Rashad isn't even close to being close to a better or even more rounded fighter.

Rampage is an excellent grappler and i'm willing to bet that Rashad has a tough time bringing him down if he even does at all.

Rampage doesn't train to do submissions he trains to get out of them, best offense is a great defense.

We dont even need to discuss striking as everyone knows rampage is in the top tier of strikers.

I seriously believe all the talking Rashad is doing is taking away from his prep and taking away energy that could be used to focus on training. He could have also saved 20$ by not sending Rampage that snuggie and saved it for him self.

Welcome to fail.

Rampage> Rashad "no power" Evans

Rashad no power? Dude has 2 of the best knockouts ever.

Antonio rogerio lil nog should be the #1 contender after tonight... after he smashes his oppenent he is by far the best in that division....

His knockout loss to Sokoudjou was due to an injury he suffered and his trainers begged him not to fight and still he fought.. was in no condition to fight... his other loss was very contrvoserial both with Vladimir Matyushenko... who is a great fighter it was pretty even. Then he smashed him by knocking him out when they fought again. He has one more loss to shogun and that was the best fight i have ever seen in my life... argubaly the best fight in pride of all time.

Dan Henderson, Kazushi Sakuraba, Alistair Overeem, Guy Mezger, Vladimir Matyushenko, Cane

Rashad Evans are you kidding me? HE got SMASHED by lyoto machida... all over the place... he's slow he can't keep up.. Rogerio trains machida and machida admitted he would never want to go up against rogerio, anderson silva would also get beat by rogerio or big nog.... Rua would have a really hard time beating lil nog right now... I couldn't see him beating him again and if it did go to a decision again it would be very very close... as far as rampage goes he already got smashed by rua... evans is way to slow, let's get real and just give rogerio the shot after he wins tonight, guys like evans and jackson have no where near the skills lil nog has.... his BJJ is better than rua jackson and evans no doubt.... and rogerio stand up boxing is an A grade no doubt... Brazaillian champion boxer, better stand up than his older brother at this point.. he's fresh has 21 fights..

learn MMA people.

EPIC FAIL!!! Little Nog is not even close to being in the same class as Rua, Rashard or Rampage.

Heck he lost his fight vs Brilz tonight in my opinion. I dont know which fight the judges were watching, cause in the one I saw he won the 3rd round and that is it.

No it is Evans speed and ground game, plus just a gut feeling. This thing could go either way they are 2 of the best in MMA so its hard to predict. I enjoy watching both of them for different reasons and am rooting for a great fight more then anything. It is usually entertaining when both fighters dislike either other as much as these 2.

Welcome to fail except opposite.

Rampage was winded and lost the fight due to poor conditioning. He had the guy dazed and was so out of breath he couldn't finish..

Epic FAIL!!

He had to lose 45lbs to make weight, dude was out of shape...

I recall Tyson had to lose something like 80lbs to make weight for the Buster Douglass fight, it will do you in everytime if it's last minute...

after all the talk about being in the best shape of his life...

Evans chin is HIGHLY suspect at this point. Evans won so he's the better fighter tonight, but even with all that speed, he still couldn't finish Rampage and didn't even bother trying to.

I find it hard to root for a fighter who is literally turning tail to run away during the closing seconds to secure his victory like he's kneeling the ball to run the clock in a football game.

Rampage was also an idiot for not pouncing on Rashad when he had the chance.

I think that based on their closing statements though, that's it really obvious these guys don't hate each other. They just suckered the world.

At the weigh in if you seen Rampage before you could see how much muscle he had lost. I think he dropped weight too fast. Rashard has all the tools.

Well there was no weight limit for any of Tyson's fights. He may have been out of shape but he didn't have to lose it :p

Why don't you guys just pay the 10 bucks to go to a bar and watch the fights ?

Or invite 5 buddies over and have them bring food or drinks or chip in on the cost ?

Find me a bar or channel on Oslo that shows the fights and i would gladly do that. Bars here close at 3am UFC usually starts at 4 and no channels not even cable shows the fights

ring rust was indeed a factor. props to Rashad for winning. I must say though I will never pay for another UFC if one of Greg Jackson's fighters other than Carwin is in the main event. these guys go into the fight with a gameplan that if executed will earn them a decision victory.

also Brilz got robbed
