They're talking about doing Aldo/McGregor and Rousey/Tate III at Cowboys Stadium.

McGregor and Rousey on the same card would be epic.

I will be watching this card without a doubt.

Those are two of my favorite fighters out there to watch fight. It'll be a great card.

Ronda said she would go up and fight at 145 for Gina.

Ronda also said she would fight Ali's daughter.

Ronda also said she should fight Mayweather.

BUT RONDA REFUSES TO FIGHT AT 140 for Cyborg.

I miss the days where the best in the world would go out of their way to fight the best in the world at fair weights ( aka catchweights ) .

The days of BJ Penn going up in weight to fight GSP, Machida, etc.

Or days of Rich Franklin fighting catchweight.

Of those 4 how many of them have been popped for being a cheater?

You seem to want to compare those other situations to Cyborg when it's clear what the difference is. Cyborg is a cheater. Plain and simple.

You don't make exceptions for cheaters. You never should.

Cheaters do not deserve the benefit of the doubt, special considerations, or anything else.

They're cheaters. They get what they get.

I do no feel sorry, in the least, for Cyborg. She chose to cheat, for years, and now she can't get what she wants cause she got caught cheating.

Awww poor boy. Your panties in a bunch?

You can defend your roid freak to the last breath. I give her ZERO benefit of the doubt because she deserves ZERO benefit of the doubt.

I don't care if she's working for someone who is tied with Zuffa. As you pointed out lots of fighters have popped for Roids. Every single one of them who gets caught loses all respect from me.

Period.

And now here is the very simple fact. Ronda is the 135 champ.

She doesn't have to go up weights to accommodate people who don't deserve it. It's that simple.

If Cyborg hadn't been a known roid user for years, and years, then I'd imagine she would get a lot more her way. The champ would likely accommodate her if she wasn't a dirty cheat.

But she is a dirty cheat.

And I don't buy, in the least, that the final 5 pounds is a health risk for her. That's crap. The simple fact is she can't do it because she's roided for so long, and yeah probably still does despite her claims.

Everyone else can give the noted cheater the benefit of the doubt but I simply will not. She has earned ZERO trust.

I would be fine with all of this if she didn't run her mouth so much.

You can't run your mouth like Ronda does but when the time comes to fight a beast you try to make them turn themselves into beef jerky just to fight.

And like I said, I don't know how anyone could watch TUF and not dislike her. After the Meisha fight Rousey got boo'd bigtime. Somehow the UFC turned her back into a face after that but shes is an unlikable deuche.

Cool.

I don't know how anyone watched TUF and liked Meisha either.

She's a two-faced *****. Plain and simple.

There is nothing likable about her.

And yeah Rousey came off as a mean person toward Meisha and I don't blame her and if I was her I wouldn't care, at all, what people thought when it came to how I felt about that chick with the way she, and her team, conducts itself.

Fair enough.

I would still not like to see her talk all this crap about fighting guys and such and make it so difficult for the only person alive who can match her in the ring to make weight.

Also, Cyborg has been clean since 2011 according to all of her drug tests that are issued by the same people that do Ronda's testing.

As I've stated previously the reason being that out of all the ones being talked about only 1 is a noted cheater and thus does not deserve any sort of special considerations, help, or anything else.

Cyborg earned being treated this way by being a noted, and known, cheater for years. She does not deserve any sort of special treatment because of that.

Again I don't feel sorry for her in least. She's a woman whose far more known for being a cheater, than a fighter, and she wants the most recognizable female fighter in the world to do her a favor and help her get the big fight with her by moving up because the years and years of cheating have made it so hard on her to get down to the 135 pound fight weight.

Well boo hoo Cyborg. You did this to yourself.

You cheated.

For years.

Now you don't get what you want as a repercussion of all those years of cheating so that you could beat up much smaller women with your cheating advantage.

I don't feel sorry for you in the least and absolutely no one else should either.

Get to 135 and fight.

1 more thing...

I don't know how you can be a MMA fan and be a steroid snob.. This sport is worse than baseball when it comes to that.

Shes been off for years.. Unless she has still been on steroids, and she has been tested for years since she failed, then she has no benefits from those steroids she was popped for in 2011.

Once you go off gear, especially for a woman, those gains go with it.

Hmmmm....yeah I suppose that is technically true. She was suspended in January 2012 for 1 year because she popped for roids in her December 2011 fight. So really she wasn't clean in 2011 either.

Maybe she has been clean since her January 2012 suspension but I simply will not give her that benefit of the doubt. She simply does not deserve it.

I don't understand what's so hard to understand about that.

I give roid uses absolutely zero credit for anything they do because they deserve zero credit.

And I'm sorry but all sports show that 'testing' doesn't prove that she's clean. These athletes that cheat like that always find ways to get around it. There for I have no reason to give her any benefit of the doubt.

I give those who haven't been caught that benefit of the doubt. Once they're caught they forever lose that benefit in my eyes.

Ok, but understand that you have no proof of that and all the proof shows that she hasn't done steroids since she tested positive.

Plus, these tests have exposed some of the biggest stars in MMA recently so if she was on them I personally believe she would've been popped.

It's one thing to play a stick and ball sport and take PEDs. When you're talking about true unarmed combat, you are risking people's lives. I have no respect for any of them. Just looking at that she-male makes me sick.

190 was a solid card but the throw in TUF Brazil fights drained it and made it too long.

They need to address that for future Brazil cards. TUF fights get their own card for a reason.

Rousey is a special athlete. She is a jerk. That's perfectly fine by me because her level of driven is going to produce insane amounts of tunnel-vision.
Anyone that watches her knows they are seeing something like Jordan in basketball or Gretsky in hockey.
It is truly special.

I completely applaud her even tho I like Tate more.

Cyborg may be better than Rousey but I am just not sure.
Ronda has faced every challenge and won rather easily.
I believe Cyborg wins a stand up battle but she's never faced anyone like Rousey either.

The UFC decided the weight class would be 135.
Cyborg has hemmed and hawed but never made 135.
She's stated for a couple years she would, then backed off and didn't.

Cyborg is interesting but she is NOT more battle-tested than Ronda. The best 135ers in the world are in the UFC.
She fought Baers as a Muay Thai battle and lost a decision.
MMA-wise her best wins are over Coenen who is also a Dutch muay thai fighter. And Miesha beat Coenen.
She hasn't fought in true grappling in years and Ronda is probably the best female submission fighter in the world.

American wrestling is a very different beast.
I think Cyborg can get to 135 pounds but it will take shedding muscle and she will lose strength.
If she does that she also gets her arm snapped.
That's probably why the fight hasn't happened.

The UFC for all it's superfight talk really doesn't do much of it.
Catchweight stuff is insanely rare for them.

Great post. Very informative. Catches you up nicely. Thanks.

Didn't she kinda ruin gina caranos career? Gina stood tough but the Roids made it impossible. She quit soon after right?

She derailed Gina entirely. Without question.

Gina is not in Ronda's league. By any stretch of the imagination.

Understood.

But I give her zero benefit of the doubt.

I don't need new proof. She's proven enough in the past that there is simply zero reason to give her that benefit of the doubt, despite drug tests.

That's the way it goes. She could test clean for the next ten years and I still will not give her the benefit of the doubt.

Or anyone else who gets busted in MMA for that matter.

Not an Anderson Silva fan then either anymore then? What about the differences in the physiques of fighters who have not popped officially but look vastly different when they stepped into the cage.

What about Jon Jones abnormal hormone levels when he fought Cormier?

You can defend Ronda and her ducking Cyborg to the last breath too. I mean watching her fight the Bethe's of the world must be completely satisfying
