He said he has become close to Terry - and that TG is helping him with what not to say...well, he needs more active restraints, imo. Like someone to advise him to lay low and seek the company of his teammates, not the false comfort of the microphone. He got played badly by LeBatard.

This guy's one hope is he bond with teammates who genuinely care about him....who can stop him from worsening his situation time and again. The people around him, off field, seem more like predators than mentors to me.

What saddened me today was the report by Werder that Bill had been very encouraging and accessible to Owens since he's been in Dallas, but that in wake of the Haley thing, Bill was growing distant. Hopefully that is just more conjecture by ESPN hags. The last thing Owens needs is for Bill to actually do what the press falsely claimed he did from the start - ignore Terrell.

My guess is Owens too fears his skills are deteriorating. He's volatile enough when he thinks he's the best...proving himself now (after that blow he took last Sunday..I can't imagine how many times he must have rehearsed his victorious return in his mind, only to flat out flop) is pretty important.

I do hope he breaks out big this Sunday..not just for the win, but because he needs it, bad. Real bad, imo.

I think the guy needs help.

One thing TO doesn't have is a good inner circle. Noone seems to be there just for him, only for themselves.

Hopefully Bill hasn't stopped talking to TO, that would be the exact opposite of what he needs to do, but after all we are dealing with two guys with huge egoes.

I'm sure there is a little self doubt there cause it has been like a year since he produced those big numbers he used to. But I doubt that is a huge factor in this situation, he is more upset over losing in Philly.

Everyone needs help at some point, but the problem is finding the right help. Sometimes, things can't be solved, regardless of help. If he is diagnosed with some disorder, the drugs won't make him happy or give him the attention he wants and needs.

The media just knows if they nag him enough, they will get a story. Hopefully Glenn can help him a little with not letting the world know he is unhappy. After all, they really don't care if he is unhappy and use it against him cause of their need for a story, so why say it.

ok, so at the end of the season...TO is officially gone right?

TO is not going anywhere, he is Jerry's boy. It is the Tuna that is going to be walking at the end of the season. Hopefully he is gonna take that statue with him, I am sure everybody knows who Beast is talking about.

Romo to TO in 2007:D

You know, it's been said in the past that Todd Haley isn't the easiest guy to get along with.

As a matter of fact, Bob Dole doesn't think many people like him at all.

Does anyone remember when Parcells Flair chopped Haley in the Seahawks game last year?

We are the only ones who cant get TO the ball. Let me rephrase that... Drew is the only one who cant.

I bet Romo doesnt have problem getting TO the ball... you watch....

Bill Parcells and his fear of taking any chances has us at 2-2.... .everything is be careful... play it safe... play it stupid.... hope they dont score on us... gimme a break...

Good point........why does our coaching staff turn probowlers in average players?

See Roy (actually looks worse the longer he plays for Tuna)
Witten (has totally disappered from the offense)
TO (was a stud in SF and Philly and has like 1 freaking TD for the year.
FLO (this stiff sucked until contract year, was probowler, now back to sucking.

The better question is why doesnt anyone actually blame the players for that.

a relationship? screw building a relationship. build a gameplan on how to get 81 the ball!

When did this team become a social club??

F that!!!

Tuna needs to tell Bledslow to throw the freaking ball to 81 so we can get above .500. As long as the team wins, I could care less who is talking to whom and if the relationship building is progressing.

This is football, not the freaking Girl Scouts here........:bang2:

TO is responsible as well for dropping passes.

TO got 5 more passes thrown at him on Sunday than any other player.

It would certainly make the OL look a lot better. Bledsoe can make a decent line look like crap. I tend to think that Romo wouldn't run into oncoming DL the way Bledsoe does.

Regardless, how does this even address what I was talking about? I was talking about changing the QB -- you know the guy that keeps making ******** mistakes regardless of pressure.

I dont get how Bledslow keeps getting a pass. It is the o-line fault that he one of the worst QBs in the NFL? Thats a new one.

Yea there was pressure and even blown assignments, but the last 2 picks were all on Bledslow, should have been easy 14 pts right there. If you dont believe Beast, go to NFL.com and look up the stats. You will find Bledslow near the bottom in most QB categories..............but he still gets a pass, WOW:(

TO had 1 legit drop. The other ball that went off his hands was 5 feet above his head, man that Bledslow is accurate.

As far as the other passes "thrown his way", I really dont count a ball underthown by 10 yards when TO has a freaking walk-in TD as catchable.

That is the problem with Bledslow, he just throws in the general vicinity all freaking year. There is like 1 other QB in the NFL with more pics than he has.....and you are telling Beast TO is getting good balls from the QB

Beast has to differ:mad:

Have you not noticed all the "play Romo, season is over" posts? Apparently a lot of posters, along with Tuna, think Bledslow is our best chance to win and that TO had 13 drops in the Philly game:confused:

Ergo, Bledslow gets a pass.

Parcells hasnt said anything about the most under achieving WR in football either. Free passes all around to skill positions of the Cowboy offense.

Sad that a man in his 30's like TO , Mike Tyson, etc. Need a mentor at that point in their lives, for these type of situations.

Schlereth was just on the radio here in Denver saying that he just received reports that there was some huge TO blowup at practice yesterday and Parcells has determined that he's done trying to build a relationship with 'the player'.
We're playing Houston Sunday, that player will have 8 catches for 134 yards and 2 tds. All is well.
