Ultimately playoff success will determine how Dak’s career will be perceived

That has always been the standard for Cowboys quarterbacks. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I would say it is the standard for this franchise and the team in general. We isolated to the QB but then there is only so much control a QB has, it takes the team to win it all.

Find 1 person that has said that.

Prove it.

Meanwhile..... the side you're on disparages a 3 time Super Bowl winner for the Dallas Cowboys in Troy Aikman to prop up Dak.... and you guys call yourself Cowboys fans. You're Dak fans. Nothing more.
yeah, sure thing. poopy dog and Khiladi are so full of love.... show me a single post from Khiladi that gives Dak a positive comment. ever.

I find it funny, how dak haters swarm in after a loss regardless of how it happened and analyze every single play to death. with hundreds of comments and posts...yeah, that has never happened around here.

I said what I said, because its the truth. the truth hurts.

I'm glad that your belief that Dak played well makes those losses not sting as much.

When you're a fan of the Cowboys over any single player you couldn't care less how "well" a specific player played in a playoff game. The only thing that matters is advancing in those playoffs.

I hope that if we lose that Dak plays well enough to give you Dak over Dallas fans some conform.
I thought wins and losses are all that matter. Cowboys won Saturday didn’t they?

I have NEVER seen Papy or Khiladi say they want to Cowboys to lose.

There's a difference in critisizing the QB and rooting for the team to lose.

If you can show proof of them saying they hope the Cowboys lose then it's a different story, but you and I both know you can't because nobody says that. It's hyperbole from Dak over Dallas fans.

You're siding with someone that disparages Aikman to prop up Dak. I hope you know that.

Who said anything different?

In fact, that entire post is talking about winning/losing.

Oh, and Zeke needs to average 85 yards the next 2 games to reach 1,000. Guess how many times he's had at least 85 yards in a game this year?

Heart over brain.

It's comical how so many ignore that, especially in a game that was basically an exhibition for Philly with their backup QB.

It's comical how so many say this was an exhibition for Philly because of their backup QB playing when they played their starters (except in cases of injury) the ENTIRE game! If that's the case, then the first matchup was an exhibition for us so let's not count that loss!!

Dak needs to keep up his play from Sunday's win. And then do it in the playoffs. If he doesn't, there will be many fans lowering their opinion.
Mine has been lowered this season, and though he rebounded and played great Sunday, agains the team wise best record in the NFL and one of the best defenses.
That has not changed my opinion any. I want to see that Dak in the playoffs without the picks or sacks / fumbles.
Dak has played at an elite level this year, regardless of what the int numbers say.

This is the best we have seen Dak.

And all the Dak trolls were having melt downs while Cooper Rush put up 4 straight victories because their guy wasn't doing it.

The only problem with your statement is that Dak has, in fact, put up 4 straight victories.

And so did Rush. That's not a problem. And I celebrate a victory no matter who the QB is.

But your comment said, "because their guy wasn't doing it." I mean he couldn't do it because he wasn't playing; but he came back and did it.

And the even bigger question, why in the world does anyone even pay attention to what Pappy says? Dude is obviously just a really dumb kid who loves to yank chains. If he'd have been ignored from the start, he would've gone away.

See the hate huh? I don't know, that sounds subjective. Guess I can only speak to what I've seen and said, which is lots of criticism based on frustration and wanting this team to win something.

X1,000,000

In many ways, this great and ongoing Dak "Debate" is symptomatic of what ails our society at large.

For a certain subset of our fanbase, it's so inconceivable that someone could feel very strongly the opposite way that they do, that the only way they can rationalize it is by describing the opposing viewpoint as "hatred" or "rooted in hate".

Just a general question, but what kind of parenting/self affirming educational nonsense leads people to believe that anyone diametrically opposed to them on a given issue must be filled with "hate"? This is not good folks.

How?
How can you "see" the "hate" in the words a critic types?

I call BS, Jazz. You're seeing what you want to see. My guess is that there are certain people that challenge your opinions in a way that really grinds your gears. You rationalize this to be because they have ulterior motives, i.e. "hate", because that allows to write off their opinion as irrelevant because it is driven by the ulterior motive rather than logic and reason.

Your responses only take the discussion farther into the darkness. I consider you one of the main instigators of the dysfunction. You certainly aren't alone but you're definitely first team.

Seriously?

It's an exhibition because everything is virtually decided. Philly has the No.1 seed wrapped up.

Sure, they wanted to officially clinch it in Dallas, but they know they're not losing two home games against New Orleans and Washington.

They have the best record in the NFC, and we're a wild card team. It's done.

Week to week roller coaster of the nfl and fans reactions towards Dak are more up and down than the stock market, but regardless of how Dak plays like this past week, or the week before and his ints and his flashes of greatness and then his mistakes, you can’t judge Dak until he has playoff success, that’s what separates a good qb from a great qb, so we’ve seen what he is capable of, but without playoff success he will never be viewed as a great qb regardless of his numbers and regular season record

No different than Romo or White.

Dude if he didn’t get hurt you would look dumb. You already do for making that bet not actually knowing if he would play all year. It’s going to funny if it happens. It probably won’t though so whatever you want me to put in my signature I will. Just find it funny you’re holding me to a bet when the guy missed 2 games. This whole board knows it. I’m a man of my word though. So here we are
