Our best player on defense (this season) will not be returning this season, IMO.

His return has been postponed too many times for me to uphold faith in seeing him take the field again this year.

This sucks.

I wonder... just where would the Cowboys be right now if Crayton, Henry, Cundiff, and Flozell had been playing all along?

Yep, Bill's the one who got Henry.... and If I recall a WHOLE LOT of folks on this board were talking about how Bill screwed up by bringing him in....

It's funny how people suddenly jump on the wagon when Bill makes a good decision and then want to bash him when things don't go so well...... Some of you amaze me........ :bang2:

Prove I EVER said Bill was wrong for brining in Henry. He gets an A for this past off season without a doubt. Too bad it took him until year #3 to actually do a good job for us. The first two years he changed very little and did nothing to put his stamp on the team other than to "see what he had", which was a complete waste of time...Don't give me crap about Year #1 and getting to the playoffs, he changed very little to get us on the right path. All that happened this off-season. But to not question him and only say "he knows what he's doing" or believe EVERYTHING he does is right without question is just dumb and non-objective...If you want to sit there and wave your pom-pom's like a stupid cheerleader..go for it but i like to analyze and form my own opinion.

I guess you forgot about all of Campo's blunders. Isn't Bill the one who got us Henry in the first place, and isn't it up to the doctors and trainers to decide when a player should come back. Is Bill all of a sudden a medical doctor?

We are 7-4, in contention for the NFC East title (and possibly more) and yet some still question Bill. How fast we forget the past.

I'm the least Homer-ish of anyone on this board.

However, I see a coach who has impressed me with a ton of very smart decisions making a judgement based on what a player and his trainers are telling him -- then I compare it to the opinion of a scrub poster who hasn't shown nuthin' in 57 posts.

i really like the way henry plays, i love to see a cb walk right up to the wr and stand at the LOS. Its like saying, im on you like glue from the very first step, cmon lets see what you got.

Man i hope he is not out for the year.

The guy had a slightly torn groin muscle. That takes 4-6 weeks to heal. He should not have played in Detroit, had he not it would've probably been 100% for this game, now it is becomming obvious we wont see Henry for awhile. i think you can pretty much count on it the way it sounds.

well # of posts wouldn't matter if your posts were of good quality. but they aren't. if you don't post much and you don't post good stuff then you shouldn't be slamming folks here. you just haven't earned it yet.

maybe you want to go over to one of the minor league boards - like the one on DMN for a while, work on your game, and then come back.

What do you mean? Like your wonderful posts?? LOL From what I've seen so far, they are laughable at best brother with that nose of yours planted that far up Parcells rear. Grow up. When was the last time a message board was a popularity contest? These are for talking about the Cowboys, ranting, raving, praising, etc...not about making friends. At least it's not for me...I respect folks more when they form their own opinions and don't just go with "what the coach does it right" philosophy. Let me ask you this, is there ANYTHING Parcells has done or does that you don't like? I seriously doubt it...

We are absolutely going in the right direction NOW minus having a young franchise QB that we know anything about but that's another issue.... the issue is that many homers think Parcells can do no wrong in their eyes and do not question him, giving excuses like "he knows more than us" or "he knows what he is doing". Glad I don't go through life not questioning people because they "know what their doing". LOL

Who here needs to grow up?

and for the record, I think BP can be too conservative, I think he can only work with certain types of players, I think he should have gone after Mike Wahle instead of Marco Rivera, I think he undervalued Brent Berry, he would have screwed us by signing Adam Meadows if Meadows didn't reject our higher value contract offer, I think he could have made a better pick than Kevin Burnett in round 2 this year, I think he should have strangled Sean Payton weeks ago for running reverses and screens, and increasingly, I'm thinking if the chiefs offered Larry Johnson for AB that he should have taken the deal (though I doubt it was ever really on the table). Other than that I think he's been pretty right on.

and other issues are that people feel bashing = objectivity.

towards the end of last year I JUST HATED PARCELLS EVERY MOVE. they didn't make any sense short or long term. since then he's done a lot of great things. i just don't get why *some* feel the need to analyze blow by blow, play by play, move by move with such "force" as to think each one is the single biggest reason of our lack of "success".

Good we agree on some things then. LOL. But I don't think BP should strangle Payton for anything when BP prob approves/disapproves EVERY play Payton calls. That leash is pretty obvious to me....all the other things I agree with. I definitely wish he would go with the Philly 1 gameplan rather than the regular Marty Ball (2 yds and a cloud of dust) game plan this Sunday...
