Do us all a favor, and **** with that garbage; I still remember VERY clearly how the Cowboys seemed to have half the team on IR by this point in the season, but since Parcells has come to town, that kind of thing has diminished greatly...

Yeah, he pushes his players to get back on the field... isn't that his JOB??

So again, you make yourself look foolish when you criticize the guy for doing his job...

I swear to God, if I was like some of you guys, I'd be blaming Parcells for the lousy weather today...

I think Parcells himself said we had 10 people on IR... how is that diminished??

I don't think I called you a homer... it seems to me the only flaming comes around here when you disagree with something Big Bill does... lol

you can disagree all you want, dude. but when someone doesn't agree with your disagreement it DOES NOT make them a homer. chill out, dude.

What do you mean? Like your wonderful posts?? LOL From what I've seen so far, they are laughable at best brother with that nose of yours planted that far up Parcells rear. Grow up. When was the last time a message board was a popularity contest? These are for talking about the Cowboys, ranting, raving, praising, etc...not about making friends.

Personally, I don't find it difficult to do BOTH...

At least it's not for me...

Then perhaps you should work on your social skills... or make posts with a bit more substance than your repetitive bleating of "the sky is falling"...

half of those guys started the season on IR -- so they never really contributed anyway.

Please. Enough with the ad hominems. Isn't it enough to say that there is not one shred of evidence that says Henry may even possibly be out for the year. A "testy" Bill Parcells is not evidence.

LOL - I guess blind Homers just drive me crazy. It's not rational to just sit there and agree with everything the "institution" does. The pom-pom waving is annoying.

And your BS sniping at Parcells isn't??

Apparently, a lot of folks in here find YOU annoying too... count me among them...

Your mouth and your 'tude would be far more impressive if you'd demonstrated some solid football knowledge first... but rippin' on a coach because he's created a climate where players are afraid to spend too much time hangin' out in the trainer's room is just STUPID...

Yes, sometimes a player risks reinjuring himself when he hurries back that way, but sometimes a player gets back out on the field weeks earlier than he might have had the head coach not been breathin' down his neck...

Ok since you have done nothing but trash me since you started posting on this thread, am I to assume you are the King Homer around here?? nice to meet you I suppose.. tell me what did you think of the job Parcells did here the first two years? Do you think it was of HOF level that his reputation preceeded? Do you think it was dumb not to play Henson or Romo at the end of last season when we were far out of the playoff race? Do you think Parcells has done everything right? What did you think of our previous coaches?? Did you agree with everything they did too? Just curious. i think parcells has done an EXCELLENT job this year minus his 1980's offensive philosophy for the record...

Is it really bashing or just saying what they really are?? Everyone knows what a homer is by definition and some even admit to being one...dont see why it's bashing or offensive unless you feel like thats what you are, not sure...

I see, so your REAL definition of a "homer" is anybody who takes issue with your ignorant criticisms of the Boys...

In that case, I'll wear the homer label proudly... sure hope you're comfortable with your Chicken Little label...

RECAP:

Sorry, I missed the first 25 minutes:

What do you think is the biggest chellenge in this game?
Stopping their DE's, containing Tiki.

Is this game too big for your team?
No I don't think so, if it was it would probably be too big for them too (the Giants).

When did your team gain the confidence to win a tough road game?
Philly game

Do you talk to the trainers (about Henry)?
No I don't, I'm on a need to know basis. I have too much to worry about than to talk to them.

Are you worried about Henry not coming back this season?
Look guys, we've been through this and talked about it the last 4 weeks, there's nothing I can do about it.

If you didn't have Aaron Glenn would you talk to the trainers?
I don't talk to trainers, any other questions? OK

You're not just criticizing Parcells, you're also criticising Bill Belichick. Because he uses the same exact philosophies on injuries. Is it being a homer to suggest maybe he knows a tad more about running a football team than you do? He doesn't coach the team I root for, so I don't see why it would be.

I was curious if you internet messageboard doctors could lend your expertise on Crayton. Should he sit this week? Next week? Should we put him on IR and never play him against all season? Come on, give foresight a shot. Its much more challenging than hindsight.

If we win Bill is the greatest thing since sliced bread..... if we lose he's chopped liver.... some of these folks just don't "get it".........

Hey, I don't often feel called on to defend Parcells, I figure the guy can take care of himself... and I've been right pissed at him my own self on occasion...

But to criticize the guy because he pushes his players to get back on the field just as soon as is humanly possible?? That's just ignernt...

It's a coach's JOB to make sure he fields his best team possible, and that means pushing injured players to rehab as quickly as they can... I guess Chicken Little would prefer to allow the Cowboys to be a team of goldbricks and malingerers...

Me, I like that the players are afraid to miss time... those guys are making some MAJOR money, they should be willing to put their bodies on the line... if they're not, well, maybe they can join Jacob Rogers over on the "asthma field"...

Somebody's got a short memory... more to the point, 10 people on IR at this late point of the season isn't all that many...

Particularly not when Jacob Rogers is one of them, LOL...

Well a Dr. might know alot more about the surgery he is going to perform on me but to not at least question it is kind of silly don't you think? I don't see anything wrong with questioning decisions of "experts".

I think from a medical standpoint, Crayton has been out about the length of time the medical dictionaries state that type of injury should heal. Henry came back 1 week earlier than the 4-6 weeks I believe.
