I’ve been saying that Martin is not the player he was for some time now and was shouted down by the homers on this site. It was not a good move to extend Martin when he held out and pay him.

Correct

Paying Steele a massive new deal after an injury instead of a prove it deal was an idiotic move as well. You are paying Steele based on past results and crossing your fingers and hoping for the best.
This was stupid
The Dak deal was the most idiotic of all the moves the Cowboys have made. He has always wilted in the big moments and suddenly by almost doubling his salary you cut the odds of winning a SB even more.
Mega Mega Stupid
The Cowboys stupidly overpay their own guys for past performance and have to go cheap in free agency. They have learned nothing from overpaying Witten, Dez, Sean Lee, Martin, Steele, Lawrence, Spencer, Zeke, Dak, Miles Austin, Gurode, Crawford. The list is so long it’s a wonder we have even managed to stay relevant.
Mixed feelings , some contracts work , but of late didnt

Touchy touchy.
You’re Such a mental midget.

Dude brings up Romo’s last second interception on 4th and 15 into the end zone as the only way to win the game like it’s comparable to Dak’s brain farts of picks in the playoffs. KJJ is the definition of biased. Maybe the defense sucks in the playoffs because Dak keeps turning the ball over and can’t help sustain drives.

There are mysteries and no secret codes needing to be deciphered here. This team is getting beat at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Our running backs are averaging less than 2 yards before contact. Our QB is getting maybe two seconds to throw the ball and is getting pressured on over 25% of his throws. The offense can't function like that I don't care who you have at the skill positions. We all knew this line would have some struggles to start because of two rookies starting. But none of us saw Zack Martin getting thrown to the ground on the regular and Steele being a shell of himself coming. This can better and it needs to .. and soon. Whatever they are working on in practice is not working so they need to change it up. I thought Solari could fix it and I thought McCarthy "got it" when it came to running the ball at least in the red zone. I was wrong on both counts. At least I have been so far.
Definitely need to get better in the trenches. It doesn't matter who you have at the skill positions if u are getting dominated in the trenches.

Having said this, Jerry will probably draft the RB out of Boise State if he is there when we pick.

kJJ is a conversation killer.
Try having an honest conversation with him, and he’ll always resort to calling you a hater or someone who is ignorant in football.

You do enjoy pointing that out don’t you?

Look at the front page see how many threads are not whiny in some form or fashion

So for us more positive guys our choices are at this point is ignore most everything or somewhat participate where you can or turn into a whiner.

I can assure you the last one ain’t happening. Pointing out the incessant crying in here is more about pointing out the temperature of the board that’s accomplishing nothing
Look at yourself whining about the whiners.

If you ignore everything, as you say, then why are you whining?

Dude, no post on this site accomplishes anything. Very weak reasoning.

We have to hope that Guyton becomes a player and Beebe continues to improve. Unfortunately, we really can’t spend early draft resources on the o-line because of our other needs. The defense will need 2 starting tackles, at least 1 safety if not 2. We can’t go into next season with a RB situation similar to this year and we need a #2 WR. Probably will see multiple cuts this offseason (Wilson, Hooker, Steele). Only free agents that should be resigned Golston and Lewis. It’s going to take at least 2 seasons to fix the trenches, I’m just hoping this team is just enjoyable to watch next year. It’s just boring to watch!
