Could have sped up and sharply hit a break. Doesn't even have to be driving that fast, saw a Mythbusters episode on this. Surprisingly, their insurance company wouldn't let them go over 45 MPH on this one. And they usually let them do some crazy things. I think he ended up getting a concussion and he was wearing a helmet.

Tragic and Shocking what happened.

Way to early to assume anything. She was driving away which is a defensive thing to do. He might have been trying to attack her...who knows right now.

Maybe he jumped on the truck bed and was punching her through the drivers window.

Point is we don't know **** yet.

ESPN just had a local reporter on who is following this story. He did not confirm that Henry had died...just that he was in serious condition with life threatening injuries. The reporter said that he should know more within the hour.

ESPN just reported that he's in serious condition, NOT DEAD.

Places like ESPN have to receive absolute confirmation before reporting things. Especially with things like death.

Ya espn is reporting that he is in very serious condition. Now on to the reports coming from the local news and radio stations who are reporting he is dead. Can anyone pick up the local radio and news to give us some insight?

Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer has confirmed with the Bengals and Charlotte police that wide receiver Chris Henry is still alive following a serious car accident Wednesday.

Still, the news surrounding Henry is not good.

Alex Marvez of Fox has reported that Henry is on life support and the situation is being described as "dire."

A fake Twitter account led to multiple outlets from newspapers to major sports and news blogs to repeat the information that Henry passed away.

The fake account purported to be by a NFL reporter, but it clearly is a fake.

We previously passed along reports that Henry's injuries were "life-threatening" and came after a "domestic situation."

Yet it's a mistake they have made in the past.

CBS is also retracting their report which is why I made the original post. I get email alerts from them. I do apologize if this is not the case. Even my news friends are not willing to say he has passed yet the radio station in Greensboro says he has so......
