I'm not sure what you mean by this...are you saying he is dead? That's the next step beyond critical.
After critical there is serious and dire. His condition has been reported as both of those.

This kid's life has been on the "trainwreck" stage for quite a while now. Hopefully, if he survives this, he'll have learned to make more prudent decisions.
Hate to see it, but realistically, if he wasn't an NFL player this wouldn't even be in the news.
Godspeed.

I dont agree with that, he hasn't been in trouble in awhile. He was down there with his future wife.

I wasnt saying that he was doing anything wrong then, and you are right he hasnt done anything in a while. I just did a bad jobs of simply saying that his erratic behavior was the cause of hisbad rep and could very well be the cause of his death.

I don't think she forced him to jump in the truck. She may have been running for her life.

Serious condition is less serious than critical condition. Critical condition means the patient's vital signs are extremely unstable and the threat of death is very real and imminent. Serious condition means they are more stable but still not out of the woods.

Dire (or grave) condition is as bad as you can get while still being alive. Usually, doctors use this term when it is all but a forgone conclusion that the patient will die.

You've never hopped in the back of a buddies pickup as he started to pull out? It probably isnt the smartest thing in the world to do, but hopping into the bed of a truck that is going less than 5 MPH isnt typically considered "dangerous". It's not like she was doing 60 when he hopped in.

I got a buddy that works for Channel 4 News in Greensboro and he says it was ugly. Was even amazed he survived long enough to make it to the hospital.

I pray he makes it thru this...DAMN!

Unconfirmed.

He is on life support to keep his organs alive. The hospital awaits his mother to officially take him off life support. RIP Chris.

A kid here in town last year died this way. His baseball game had just ended and the kids were all walking back to their cars. His friends pull up and he quick jumps on the back of the car to get a hitch to his car. They were going about 5 mph witnesses said, through the parking lot, when he fell off backwards and on to his head. He was brain dead from that point on and then pronounced dead the next day.

It was very sad. He was 17

I hope this young man pulls through this, but this doesn't look good at all. My prayers are w/ Chris and his family.

That is really to bad. Doesn't sound good at all. Henry certainly led a troubled life.
