Update: Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry dies from accident-related injuries

Dude had serious talent. Trouble always seemed to follow him but this is just ****ed up.

Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer has confirmed with the Bengals and Charlotte police that wide receiver Chris Henry is still alive following a serious car accident Wednesday.

Still, the news surrounding Henry is not good.

Alex Marvez of Fox has reported that Henry is on life support and the situation is being described as "dire."

A fake Twitter account led to multiple outlets from newspapers to major sports and news blogs to repeat the information that Henry passed away.

The fake account purported to be by a NFL reporter, but it clearly is a fake.

We previously passed along reports that Henry's injuries were "life-threatening" and came after a "domestic situation."

Way to early to assume anything. She was driving away which is a defensive thing to do. He might have been trying to attack her...who knows right now.

Maybe he jumped on the truck bed and was punching her through the drivers window.

Point is we don't know **** yet.

Sounds like trouble to me.

Ya but im thinking of the type of trouble he is usually caught up in. IE: Drugs, Buying alcohol for minors. This is some thing different, it sounds like they got in a fight and he jumped in the truck as she drove away( I'm by no ways saying this is smart of that this is not "trouble"). I just meant it in a different way.
