Risen's favorite draft guru has LaPorta at #36 overall and the #3 TE in his rankings.Me from last week.

Haha hey he’s the only one with the Gronk like athletic profile. Now you have went to the dark side, a blocking te in rd 1.
He is a pure gamble just on athletic traits, who may never become anything more then a blocking TE.Haha hey he’s the only one with the Gronk like athletic profile.
Also we have two elite blocking TEs with Ferguson and Hendershot on the roster. Washington doesnt make any sense. We need playmakers. He is a pure gamble just on athletic traits, who may never become anything more then a blocking TE.
Remember how Rico Gathers ran routes, expect to see the same. Also we have two elite blocking TEs with Ferguson and Hendershot on the roster. Washington doesnt make any sense. We need playmakers.
Might have a lower floor but his per target metrics are really impressive. He is a pure gamble just on athletic traits, who may never become anything more then a blocking TE.
I have never once heard those two described as elite blockersAlso we have two elite blocking TEs with Ferguson and Hendershot on the roster. Washington doesnt make any sense. We need playmakers.
Say what you want about Mayer, but he is considered as one of the highest floor players in the entire class. Washington has a higher upside, but his floor could be awfully low. He has boom or bust written all over him.Might have a lower floor but his per target metrics are really impressive.
Might not turn into anything special but I think his floor is higher than others as a league average pass catcher.
I’m not the one making the pick, sirThis is 2021, does this look like a 1st rd TE to you? Think I got the stat wrong, more drops than TD's in HIS entire career.

I do too. But I feel he is what the offense nIf the Cowboys are TE or bust I can get on board with Kincaid at 26 but would be disappointed with anyone else.
Just think we could get such better value later.
cant wait to spend 4 hours tonight to see this pick lolNick Eatman just mocked Laporta to the Cowboys @ 26 in his final mock. That’s the kiss of death…or however you want to look at it. It’s a done deal.
LololololBrokeback Kincaid, Never available Musgrave, R.A.S. of 6 Mayer, or 3rd rounder Laporta at 26.
Some of you are going to be happy tonight. It won't be me unless this is all a smokescreen
He isn't a 1st rd prospect in my eyes.I’m not the one making the pick, sir
One problem. We don’t pick 15 picks later. Unless you trade up!!!!If we take Musgrave or LaPorta at 26 it is an epic fail. Both those dudes will be available 15-20 picks later.
