None of problems were mentioned when we were on a 4 game winning streak. Now with the playoff loss everyone wants Wade gone and it's wrong, it really is. He's done a great job, especially with a defense that had 5 new starters and an offensive coordinator who isn't consistent. What Wade needs is an offensive coordinator who he TRUSTS and can relate to. Is it me or does it feel like we have two head coaches? The players are looking for THEE coach that is the leader, but they seem confused. Wade needs to take control this offseason, get rid of Garrett (obviously if Jerry allowed) and get a coordinator who he is comfortable with that can use this talent well on a consistent basis.
we do have 2 head coaches who it seems like don't even speak to each other.

Wade runs the defense

Ginger runs the offense

Jerry runs the team

this makes me sad.

because its not Tom Landry who died 16 years ago being resurrected to coach the 'boys, would that finally make you happy? or would you find something wrong with that.

What is with all the negativity? This team is continuing to make progress.
If most of you guys had been in charge in the past, this team would be like the eagles and never have been champions. We would have no rings.
Jimmy Johnson and Tom Landry would have been long gone before they came close to a ring.
You have to build a championship team, unless your handed one like Switzer (and he tore down a great team).
You don't win a championship by bringing in a new system every 2 or 3 years.
I have been around a long time, and Jerry has no choice but to continue on and add players ...etc to strengthen our weaknesses. Bring in some minor coaches to bring some fresh views. Let some of the weak links, move on, or at least coach them into making them being useful to the team. Put a good draft together and maybe we win a super bowl next year, but at least build the team and make it better. Don't screw it all up now and hire a complete new staff who will start over.

A new coach would come in here and throw some good players to other teams and pull in losers from his old teams. In 2 years or less, you guys would be calling Jerry and idiot for hiring the loser.. start the cycle over, and so on and so on ....

Give these guys (ok at least the majority) at least 1 or 2 more seasons. I think they will win it all!

This should let all cowboy fans know Jerry Jones is a stubborn hillbilly who could care less what you think. He is obsessed with showing the world he is a "football guy." I feel bad for the diehard fans who really want to see us champions again. (taps playing)

Landry's early years were before my time. From what I've read he did take alot of heat by the mid 60's, but he also took over an expansion team.

As for Jimmy, he took over a 3-13 team and totally cleaned house that first year. Then he increased the win total by six in year two and was even on the verge of making the playoffs until Troy got hurt and missed the last two weeks. By year three we had gone from 1-15 in year one to 11-5 and won a playoff game. We had a young QB who was the #1 overall pick. A rookie first round RB and a relatively young former first round WR. Everyone except for a handful of idiots still upset over Landry's firing could see by year two and three that we were a young team on a major upswing.

You'd have to be an idiot to make any correlation between then and now.

You also don't win a championship by hiring and keeping a career mediocre HC. The Schottenheimers, Turners and Wade's of the world just don't win big. Never have. If given enough time, then it is possible, but why go that route??? Why sit back with someone like that hoping for the stars, moon and planets to align? Granted no one is a guarantee, but why put all your eggs in the basket of someone who time and time and time again has NEVER gotten past the 2nd round of the playoffs? If you are dedicated to trying to win it all, it makes no sense. Now if you are just interested in being in total control and being the face of the franchise while fielding a better than .500 team, then I suppose it makes perfect sense.

No, you're the one who's wrong-o, Buck-o.

I was calling for his head on a spit just two games into that 4 game winning streak. You want to talk about a lot of crap that's been heaped onto my dung pile? Well, you can almost touch the clouds from the top of it.

And imagine the cajones one must have to go against the majority, huh?

I'm talking elephant-size here.

If you were calling for Wade's head after wins over the previous undefeated Saints and a shutout against Washington then I guess you can predict the future. ;)

You're just a click away from "seeing is believing".

But it's not like I feel great about it. I truly wish I had been wrong.

Oh well...Nite, folks. I'm gone like Saigon.

Yep....how is it that people STILL don't see this? We do NOT have a "true" HC on this team. How much more obvious can it get?
